My husband and I had been actively looking for a new car for me for at least three months. Going to different dealerships, trying different models, talking with salespeople...not really finding the right c for me for at least three months. I've been in sales nearly my whole life and recognize a good sales person when I see one. Not slick, not overpowering, but someone who truly loves his/her job and loves the product they sell. I lucked out. I saw a used car that was traded in for a Volvo through the Concord Lovering, something we might be able to afford. Dick Hastings got us two cars from Concord. I didn't like the first one and I hated to ask for "another favor" for the second one. Dick NEVER made me feel uncomfortable for asking. The car arrived the same day I asked, I took it for a spin and declared it sold! Just like that. But the most incredible part of it all was the day I went to pick it up was just before this last snow storm. The staff got the finances done efficiently, no issues...Dick walked us to the car to give me some last minute instructions. It was starting to snow, so we were anxious to get going. He saw me carrying a CD. I wanted to see how it sounded. He paused. There are no CD players in the modern cars in general. I never thought to look in the beginning. His priceless words were..."But I want you to be happy!" I don't know a single business that would curtail a big sale like this one and be willing to cancel it for a CD player!! I was so stunned and touched. That one act cemented the deal for me. Not just for the car, but for the salesmanship and honest dealings of Mr Hastings. I'd figure out something else for my music. Truly Bravo and my lucky day to end up at Lovering and dealing with Dick Hastings. More

Once a car is chosen, he works just as hard to ensure everything goes smoothly with all aspects of the sale - financing, paperwork and delivery. He is a consummate professional. He is cordial, courteous and knowledgeable (and if he doesn't know he says so and then finds out!). It is alwys a delight to have a chat when we bring our cars for service. Our most recent purchase was a Tourist Overseas Delivery (We bought the car in Meredith, but picked it up at the factory in Gothenburg.) Due to the pandemic, it had been quite some time since lovering had done one. Dick made it happen with his customary professionalism and "joie de car selling". I live in rural northern New Hampshire and in 2020 I bought a Volvo V60 from Lovering. I was my first Volvo and first time buying a car from Lovering. I will not be my last! Dick Hastings and the entire team made car buying a relaxed and pleasant experience. We were new to town and first stopped by because the dealership was local and convenient. After visiting two Volvo competitors, we returned to Lovering. Dick grabbed another car for us to test drive and left my wife and I alone to fully familiarize ourselves with the XC60 at our leisure. That pretty much sealed it for us. Lovering Meredith has a very small town, personalized feel, but with multiple dealerships, they were able to get the exact car we wanted from their sister dealership. And I have to give a big shout-out to Thomas after the sale. He explained all the new technology of a new Volvo in a clear and concise way, and offered to have a second session with us at a later time once we had a chance to drive it for a while. Great job!
