I have driven many Volvos to relatively high mileage (250-300,000) since the mid 1990s. During all these years, I have been working with John in service at Lovering-Concord. Obviously my complete satisfaction reflects a corporate philosophy, both Lovering’s and Volvo’s, and quality technicians, but where the rubber meets the pavement, I see John: always accommodating, infallible advice, and never pushy. In all fairness, I should mention that Renee (were we ever that young?) in Lovering-Concord service has the same values. Is Volvo service more expensive? Usually not, and especially not if you take into consideration literally dozens of jobs over 30 years. It only takes a few screw-ups by bargain “shady tree” garages to set back any perceived savings, incur frustration and inconvenience, not to mention the embarrassment of bringing work to John to be re-done right.
