This is the third Honda Pilot I have bought from this dealer but this will be the last next time. I would rather drive to Ocala or any other place with better service. The sales person, Scott Petricone, no longer wants to help me with anything after signing the papers. This was my experience, I had negotiated a final out the door price for the car but when I went to the dealership to sign the papers , they had tried selling me a similar car with more mileage (the one we had agreed on had 30,000 miles but they one they tried putting in the papers had 60,000 miles). I luckily caught that and they agreed to change the papers to the car that we had initially agreed upon. However, they told me that I would have to pay an extra $1,500 for an extra insurance to make the car “certified.” I signed all the papers but after getting home, I had realized that they also included extra fees for insurance on the tires. I tried contacting Scott Petricone immediately to discuss these extra charges but all I received was an email stating “Thank you for your business.” The papers clearly stated that I had up to 60 days to cancel this extra insurance but Scott Petricone will not even open any of the documents or emails I have sent to him. I have also asked for a copy of the certified car insurance that I paid an extra $1,500 for but I still have not received it. I believe that they robbed me of $2,000 and they will not do anything to help. I have already sent all the paperwork to a lawyer and hopefully these issues will be resolved but I will definitely not be going back to this dealer and do not recommend them at all. More
We would like to thank Jim Schrup for his professional treatment during our purchase last weekend. We had met him the week before, was not pushy in trying to sell us a car allowed us to test drive the car treatment during our purchase last weekend. The service manager, Jim Halford, guided me with what NEEDED to be done and what DIDN'T -- saved me a bundle. Yesterday I stopped in because my tire had a nail in it. Tyler (service writer) told me they'd check it out and if the nail had punctured, they'd have to plug the hole and there would be a cost associated. Turned out it wasn't punctured, they checked out all the tires for me and there was no charge. Some dealerships would have charged. I like dealing with these folks. More
