The technician determined and resolved the problems with a computer update and battery promptly. The manager kept me up to date on the progress during my visit. I received a new battery under warranty with no extra effort on my part. More

I was told there were no courtesy cars left that day so I could make another appointment where I could get a courtesy car. I had an appointment for 1004 and called to see if I could reschedule for the next day on Friday. I told the lady I was talking to that I could only change dates if they had a courtesy car available. She told me that Subaru changed their policy and courtesy cars were only available if your car was dangerous to drive. I asked her why at courtesy car would be available the day before but now that day she said she wasn’t sure and she would have to ask around to see what she could do. Since I was already told I could get a courtesy car I could not figure out why a days difference made it impossible she told me that she would get a hold of someone and get back to me and I said that was fine so she could find anybody right that moment. I asked her how long and when I might hear from her and she said three minutes to an hour so no problem at all. She did call me back and say she still could not get an answer but come on in because if they told me I would have a courtesy car they would get me one. When I went Friday I was told Subaru change the policy you can only get a courtesy car if your car was unsafe to drive. If I am having to bring my car in for the second time to get the same problem resolved with the windshield and I was told I could have a courtesy car I couldn’t figure out what the problem was. I asked to talk to the manager and Matt Woodson gave me a card with the managers number on it. I called and Mick Duff‘s regular number on the card and then the cell phone which both went to voicemail which said he would get back at his earliest convenience. I waited a bit with no response and not knowing if I was staying or if I’d have to leave and make another appointment where I could sit there I called him I called him a lot still no answer. After leaving several voicemails to each number. I told him I thought I should get one because they were going to give me a courtesy car on Thursday but the night today. After a short time he did come out to tell me he was on a conference call and his time is very important. Which pretty much floored me that a manager would talk to a customer like that. He also started explaining that every time a courtesy car went out it was $75 out of his pocket. I asked if it was his pocket or the company pocket. He said Me it was his personal packet. He left the service department and after a few minutes Matt came out and told me to wait a minute they had a car for me. I left with the courtesy car around 10 AM and they called around 5 PM to pick up my car. If I came in to pick up my car I was told that the phone between the windshield and the dashboard would no longer be under warranty because of a sunshade. As we were looking at the paperwork I was shown the paperwork that said this is a one time goodwill repair. They told me that that means if this happens again, which would be the third time, that it would be out of my pocket to get it fixed. It is no longer under warranty. My first question is how someone can cancel the warranty that I have on my car that is less than two years old. Also very concerning is the thought that a sunshade in a Subaru forester could damage parts of the car. For one if that’s a problem with forester it should’ve been told to me and everyone else that has a Forrester. I believe this is a problem with the car not the sunshade and I just want to make sure my warranty is going to be a good also very concerning is the thought that a sunshade in a Subaru Forrester could damage parts of the car. With such great guys such as Matt and Jeff Frazier working there in the service department, why don’t the manager have any respect for his customers. I’m not sure if it because I’m older and a lady that I, as a customer was treated like this or if this is his way with everyone. So sad! More
Exceptional Customer Service Jeff Frazier and the service staff are outstanding! We were half-way through a 2900-mile trip to Vermont when we started hearing a whining sound. Jeff Frazier and the service staff are outstanding! We were half-way through a 2900-mile trip to Vermont when we started hearing a whining sound. Thought it was in the engine. No Subaru dealer in Columbia. Called Lou Fusz Subaru & got Jeff. He thought it might be a wheel bearing. Could take us at 4:15. Drove the 110 mi or so to St. Peters. Expected a day or two delay in our trip for repairs. Got there at 3:30. We were out by 5:30 with a new wheel bearing. Under warranty. Jeff kept us informed at every step of the diagnostic process, and he had the staff do a quick check of the rest of the car for road-worthiness -- all clear. We made the rest of the trip to Vermont without incident. I cannot praise Lou Fusz Subaru enough. We've had 7 Subarus and loved them (living in MT and VT), but if you've not owned one, the service at Lou Fusz alone is reason to buy a Subaru. More

Jorden helped me to understand things I know nothing about. I took his suggestions and am very happy with the outcome. There was no pressure on me at all. All final decisions were my choice. Have only one problem, greasy hand prints on the front floor and the back seat and headrest. Do wish your company would consider senior discount and veteran discounts. More
Excellent Service Jeff greeted me with a smile and positive attitude. He gave me good advice and was very thorough about going through what needed to be done. The wait Jeff greeted me with a smile and positive attitude. He gave me good advice and was very thorough about going through what needed to be done. The wait time was reasonable(45minutes-1hr) and when I was all done Jeff helped me get some unwanted stickers off my windows with no hesitation. The staff is wonderful and I would definitely recommend this place to a friend. More
