The mechanic worked on the wrong car for over an hour. I brought my car in because something was not right on the driver's side rear wheel. The mechanic then spent less than a half hour on my car so I have no idea if the problem was fixed. More
60k maintenance service Requested techs to evaluate tires and battery. They gave me a report that both tires and battery were still in good condition. The very next day, my battery was dead in a parking lot. Had to call AAA for a jump. They said the battery was end of life and shot. They also said the Subaru tech probably checked the voltage only (which showed 12 volts), but NOT the cranking amps (which showed 1/4 of recommended level) . They gave me print out reports to validate their testing. I then bought battery directly from AAA at that time. Hence, an incomplete test of the battery essentially put me through a 2 hour inconvenience with a dead car in a parking lot. For this reason alone have I given a score of 3 rather than 5. The Service Manager was very apologetic and offered a complimentary oil change on my next visit, of which I was thankful. The issue and fault was with the techs, not the Service Manager. More

Every visit requires multiple visits. I have a 2017 forester xt. For a newer car still under the warranty I have had far too many trips for service in the last 6 months. My radio is glitchy and seems to have a mind of its own. This is only the tip of the ice berg when it comes to the issues I have had and this dealers service departments inability to fix anything the first time...or the second or third time. This is my 3rd Subaru I purchased new and more than likely my last. 2 of the 3 have had electrical issues etc. sorry for the bad review but it is what it is. More
