I feel like we were taken advantage of since we were 2 hours away from our home in Jefferson City and didn’t really have alternatives. The repair bill was going to be approx $4000. The parts they said were needed were going to be around $3000. I looked up similar parts online and found them for approx $800. More
Lou Fusz Mazda Service Has Gone Downhill I went to Lou Fusz where I purchased my car new in 2008 for an airbag recall and state inspections. The inspector came up with a list of things suppo I went to Lou Fusz where I purchased my car new in 2008 for an airbag recall and state inspections. The inspector came up with a list of things supposedly wrong with my car which meant it would not pass state inspection. This list included engine air filter, cabin filter, changing engine oil, wiper blade replacement and leaking power steering hose. The power steering hose was damp but not dripping and the wiper blades were not torn or damaged but supposedly "streaking". None of these items are grounds for failing a safety inspection. After discussing this with the inspector, he agreed to pass the car, but these are dirty tricks commonly used by inspectors to get car owners to pay for extra "repairs". I have been coming to Lou Fusz for many years and never experienced this kind of stuff before. When my car was finished, they told me I owed 30 something dollars for the inspections. At the time when I first arrived, I confirmed with Josh that the inspections would be no cost since I had lifetime free inspections promised to me when I bought the car. The cashier said that my "lifetime free inspections" had ended because the AutoAwards program was only valid for 8 years and it had expired. That sure does not sound like the lifetime benefit I was promised when i bought the car. When my car was finished they asked to me wait in the lounge again while the car was being washed. 30 minutes later, I saw Josh and he said I was ready to go. Imagine my surprise when I went out to my car after waiting extra time and it had not been washed! I will not be coming back to Lou Fusz Mazda and I will be recommending my family and friends to go else where. More

From the first phone call to the shuttle service, to the waiting area to the cashiers, everyone is courteous, efficient, and fair. Another dealership is currently advertising there new high tech waiting room. I much prefer the comfort of the oversized chairs and warmth of the design. A few more power strips would be great. More
