Flyer Scam - FRAUD 3/20/16 I received a flyer from Lou Bachrodt Chevy that I had won $4000. Went there to check out a few cars. Before they would give me a price on anyt 3/20/16 I received a flyer from Lou Bachrodt Chevy that I had won $4000. Went there to check out a few cars. Before they would give me a price on anything used, they had to run my credit and I had to test drive the cars. For each car they wanted $4000 down. .. from ME. What happened to the $4000 I won? REPAIR DISASTER I suggest that if you are considering having your car repaired at this dealership that you read my story. I took my Chevrolet Cruze to Bachrodt to I suggest that if you are considering having your car repaired at this dealership that you read my story. I took my Chevrolet Cruze to Bachrodt to have 2 recalls performed on the car and one of them involved the repair of a sensor that controls braking at low speed. They indicated that the repairs had been made and sent me on my way. Soon after the repairs the brakes failed at low speed and the car hit a wall. Also, there was excessive oil leaking which required frequent additions of oil. I went to Bacharodt and while Jeremy was exceeding helpful, they essentially blew me away and said they saw nothing wrong, and basically I was perhaps "imagining" things. At this point, I then contacted General Motors for help, and they go back to me saying the Head of the Service Department said, "have him bring it in, but we will only give him a loaner for one day". At that point, since the car was beyond the lemon law statute, I contacted the Attorney General of Florida and the NTSB for help and sent a copy of my complaint to GM corporate headquarters. To make a very long story short, I was directed to another dealer by GM corporate, who found that 1) Bacharodt had shot a a wrong sized bolt through the timing cover causing massive amounts of oil to shoot out of the engine, and 2) when they replaced the brake sensor, they left it loose, which caused the failure of the brakes and the crash. General Motors agreed to fix the damage caused to the engine by Bacharodt, but also picked up the cost of the repairs for the damage caused by the faulty sensor causing the brakes to fail at low speed. The total charge were for these repairs was $5000 and it took 2 months to repair, for which GM had the dealer give me a loaner (so much for the "only 1 day for the loaner". In closing, there is no excuse for this inept repair situation, which endangered us, and caused massive disruption and aggravation. Their attitude was also appalling, and I was only glad that I was vindicated in the end. So, my recommendation is "think twice" before you bring your car for repair at this Chevrolet dealership - Buyer be aware!!!. More

Courteous Service Department BUT Our problem was with the GPS, part of the Info/Entertainment system. The symptoms started with the GPS loosing fix and taking us home to Detroit. The new unit had a software bug and two more tries to mostly fix the problem. The unit has locked up 2 times since the last service that required full power down to reboot the processor, but not bad enough to take it back in. More
