Will take it in tomorro Needed typical 100,000 service for 5 series. Work done to good standard, though found a new clunking sound with trunk hinge. Will take it in tomorrow per conversation with service mgr. Just something minor while checking battery I suppose. Less than stellar phone communication though. Did not call as discussed with findings and timing. When I called at end of afternoon 4:20 nobody picked up line. Then redialed and somebody said they would check on status of my car and call back in 10 min. Finally I called 40 minutes later and got to voicemail. Car was ready at end of 2nd day. More

Not very helpful I had a recall on my car and made my appointment to have key fixed due to recall. I was told I would be out of there in 15 minutes on the phone. I w I had a recall on my car and made my appointment to have key fixed due to recall. I was told I would be out of there in 15 minutes on the phone. I was there on time for my appointment and had to wait for 1 hour. On a different occasion I called the parts department to check on a gas cap I needed. They have in stock but are only open until 5:00 M-F. I explained I worked until 5:00 and asked if had another option. He asked if I needed it installed and I said no and gave me the same hours again. I asked if I could pay over the phone and pick up at the location on a Saturday morning either at service department or lobby area. He said parts department is not open on Saturdays. I will take my business to another dealer and be sure not to shop for a new car at this dealer in the future if this is how they handle customer service. More

I am from out of town and and the vehicle stopped running just outside the service door. I was told that they could not do repairs until Monday so I rented a car and went home. On Monday morning I received a call telling me that I needed a new alternator (I told them that Saturday morning) and the cost would be a little over $1,400.00!! I told them that I thought that seemed very high for that repair and the service person told me that the repair was billed at 4.8 hours labor. I was told that she would have the technician recheck the numbers and call me back in a few minutes. After an hour i decided to call them back and finally got through to the service gal again. The technician checked the figures and he said it should only be 4 hours...new price..a little over $1,100.00. I told her that was still way too high. In the mean time I contacted Tuffy's in Rockford, he also thought that was very high for replacing an alternator. After paying Lou Bachrodt Chevrolet $156.00 for the "diagnosis" I had Tuffy's tow my Traverse to their facility..bottom line $733.00 including the tow with a nationwide guarantee. I would never go back to this dealership. I feel they were taking advantage of me because I was from out of town and stranded with a vehicle that would not run or they simply overcharge people for the work that is done. Fortunately Tuffy's did not do the same. More
Not happy AT ALL Brought my 2014 Cruze in for first scheduled service. When they got done, I get into my car, and it smells like burnt oil inside. I thought maybe t Brought my 2014 Cruze in for first scheduled service. When they got done, I get into my car, and it smells like burnt oil inside. I thought maybe the mechanic didn't wash his hands? As I drove the smell got much worse, so I pulled over and popped the hood. Clearly the mechanic spilled oil all down the front of the engine and on the exhaust, and didn't even bother to clean it off!! So, I drove back to the dealership ( fairly angrily) and pulled into the service area. Got out of my car and popped the hood open again, and stood there. After about 5 minutes of being ignored (I don't think Nick was there anymore) by 4 different service writers, a 5th girl came out of the office. I asked if she could help me. I told her what the problem was, and she called for a mechanic on her radio. No one answered. She asked again, and finally someone came up from the shop. He told me they would get it all cleaned up. HALF an HOUR later they finally brought my car back out. They did NOT get it cleaned! I had the stench of burning oil for almost two weeks afterward. That they spilled the oil doesn't bother me as much as the way I was treated when I came back to complain. I was completely ignored by 4 different people. Then took them forever to "clean" the engine. Then just gave my car back. No apology. Nothing. Nick was helpful on my initial visit. I had no problem with him at all. And, I believe Courtney was the person who finally helped me when I came back, with the oil all over the engine. More
