Perfect car, perfect buying experience -- huge thanks! I have purchased many cars, and this was a standout experience. Once I found out that my ‘new’ Tiggy was available, I was connected to Casey Welter. She was so perky, knowledgeable and passionate about VW's and I was fortunate to have her as my saleslady. Buying from someone confident (in an honest way) about the products they sale is a huge stress reliever. Since I live in PA, I had to work out 'the deal' including financing having never met Casey nor having visited the dealership and that means no test drive! Talk about trust! Once the finance team worked out an awesome 4% interest rate through VW credit -- the best offer I had received while shopping with a small down payment -- I made my arrangements to travel to Rockford. Several hours of traveling including an Amtrak train and Greyound bus, Casey was in constant (but not aggressively) in communication. She was even so patient about with my 4 hour delay! Not only did she pick me up from the bus station, she picked me with a smile in my new Tiggy which had been cleaned, gassed up, and ready for me. As it turns out, while I was traveling to Rockford, a couple had also driving to the dealership from out of state. Due to Casey's due diligence (processing my down payment and putting a sold sticker on the car), the car was not accidentally given to someone else. This is a huge deal when you think about how much time and energy a small mistake would have made. The rest of the buying process was awesome as well. Casey went through every car feature that my new Tiggy has as well as set up the Sirius radio (totally sucks to try and figure this stuff out later). Again, just patient and knowledgeable and I left with a huge smile and feeling satisfied with my new commitment. Lastly, the paperwork for my tags arrived just before my temp tags expired. I went to register my car and they told me that I need something else from the dealership. Bummer. But, two short phone calls and 15mins later what I needed was packed up and shipped overnight -- thanks Sarah and finance person I spoke too. So happy that I wasn’t given the run around and that they made my issue as important as I felt it was. I would recommend this dealership without hesitation and would happily travel on a train and a bus again, for the same service and quality of product; they do lots of little but fancy things to new VW's so as the 2nd owner I got all the fancy little perks (nitrogen in the tires and protective lining) that they put on their new car since it was an original lease from their store! More

Excellent Buying Experience Lothan "JR" Henry of Lou Bachrodt Automall is the best! Having purchased our last seven cars from Bachrodt's, and the last five with help from "JR", my wife and I could not be happier. Last Friday, May 22nd, my wife got a call from "JR". He asked how her 2007 Equinox was doing and informed her of some tremendous Memorial Day sales that were going on and would she like to sit down and talk. We had not been thinking of buying, but when "JR" says he has a deal for you, rest assured, he is not making it up just to get you in the door. We went on Memorial Day, May 25th. He had called me that morning to make sure we were still coming and mentioned that he had a car in mind for us. We sat down with "JR" for a bit and he then brought around a 2015 Chevy Equinox LS. Long story short, my wife drove it and she loved it. He even got the color right. Who knew she liked silver so much. The entire process, working with "JR", doing the myriad of paperwork with Finance Manager Frank Sumpter, even the folks that held the door and offered coffee on our arrival, was painless and very easy. We left after a thorough user session with "JR", feeling very happy with our purchase. That is why we have always, and will continue to shop Bachrodt's. Same for my daughter who purchased a new 2013 Malibu with "JR's" help about a year or two ago. I anticipate "JR" calling me in the future to replace my Malibu that I drive for work. No hurry though.
