First time at this dealership. Went here looking for a car for one of our teenagers. Tyson was our salesperson. He was very nice, respectful, no pressure, laid back, and friendly. Trying to negotiate with the sales manager was frustrating to say the least. I was a cash buyer and granted, it wasn't an expensive car, he would not budget one dollar on the price. Top that off with nearly $400 of doc fees! The doc fees were a quarter of what the car cost. We didn't have to pay taxes, title, or license since we were in Rockford. So $400 seems really steep especially when there was ZERO negotiations on the car price. Then off to the business office with the business manager who had no personality what so ever. I even tried to joke and have friendly talk but he was cold as ice. Took 5 minutes to do the paperwork but that 5 minutes cost me $400. Seems like a poor exchange. When I went to pay, all I had was $100 bills. He got a little irritated and said he couldn't make change. WHAT? So I had to pay the "balance" with my debit card. So the doc fee seemed excessive for 5 minutes of work for a very unfriendly business manager who couldn't make change. Tyson the salesman was great! After that it felt like a rip off. If you go here, see Tyson but beware of the expensive doc fees and the business manager who has the personality of a corpse. I don't expect dealership people to be my new bff's, but a little negotiation and friendly personality goes a long way with me. More
