I went to Longo for the good reviews and the peace of mind that comes with going to a dealership. I was willing to spend a little more for someone I can trust to fix my car properly and the customer serv mind that comes with going to a dealership. I was willing to spend a little more for someone I can trust to fix my car properly and the customer service I read and researched and for which I drove 10 extra miles. When I arrived (with an appointment) nobody even acknowledged I was there. I waited in my car for a couple of minutes and then went to look for someone to help me. Eventually Johan asked if I had been helped and walked me over to his station to help me. He asked me what I wanted and gave me a promise time of 5:00. I later received a text that my car wouldn’t be ready until 6:00. It ended up being ready at around 5:15. After paying for my service and showing my paperwork to the man who drove my car to me I began to clean the steering wheel with a sanitizing wipe (covid). I found that the wipe was completely black. Gross. I repeated this 6 more times and each time the new wipe was just as dirty as the first. I also noticed grease on my hand. I went to tell them about this incident and was directed to an Asst. manager named Daniel. I showed him the black, greasy wipes and he took one of his own and still got more grease off of my steering wheel. I asked him for compensation for my trouble and he offered me a detailed car wash. I asked him for financial compensation and he said that he’d worked there for 10 years and that he’d never heard of anyone getting financial compensation but he could give some form of super deep cleaning of my car. I asked to speak to a manager and he said there wasn’t one around. I then asked for a manager’s phone number so I could speak to one myself and all of a sudden he found a manager. The Manager, Matthew, asked to see my paperwork and offered me 25% off of the price I paid for my trouble. (So much for never offering financial compensation). Matthew verified my address and said he’d mail me a check in 7-10 business days for that amount. I hope he follows through or there will definitely be a follow up to this post. After I got on the freeway I heard a knocking sound coming from my engine that wasn’t there before my service. Now I need to go back and see what the heck is going on. This was not what I paid for. I thought that at least my car would be taken care of but now I’m not so sure. More

Longo’s service Dept is terrible. Service Dept management is very bad. I spent four hours for regular check up. And this is not a first time. I waited seven hours about a year ago.
