Where there were a couple of small glitches, they not only made it right, they went the extra mile with an additional service comp. I mean a window wasn't cleaned thoroughly and they cleaned it again, and a broken chip has to be reordered, life happens. They are great to deal with from the sales folks right out into Service. They are the best. I've dealt with other car sales people who treated me like a little girl without any common sense. Needless to say, I don't go back to them, but I'll go back to Longs and Lisa Courchaine any day! More
The best way to buy a car Walking into the dealership, we gave the name of the sales representative we wanted to speak with (my son had purchased here from Matt). The man who greeted us went to find Matt, and took us to the lounge to wait (very nice lounge in the service department- I will be able to use their open wi-fi to work while getting service there-- but if it's a long service, they give you a loaner vehicle so you're not trapped there!). Matt, our sales agent, asked questions, listened to what I wanted and helped narrow down my choices. He brought up examples of the cars for me to look over. He was open about pricing, never once inquiring if we were trading until we had made the decision to buy and he had already told us the price we would pay for the purchase of the new car.. The finance manager, Ray, was very detailed in his rationales for what would be worth our extra money (and what wouldn't) instead of just selling us all the bells and whistles. He asked what kind of driving I do, and figured out the potential mileage so he could answer our questions with the best personalized answers for an informed decision that was best for us. We've been to other dealerships, where the sales people try to undercut each other, and even talk disparagingly about other dealerships (that sell the same cars!). One of the last dealers we went to wouldn't even give us a "ball park" price for the vehicles we were interested in until we brought in our trade-- I mean excuse me, but what does my car have to do with the price of your car, unless some creative numbers come into play? Long Subaru was honest, no pressure and pleasant to deal with. You really feel like part of a family when you go there. If you're planning on a Subaru, it is well worth your time to investigate Long, and interact with the professional and pleasant sales team they have there. More
Another new car! This is my second Subaru Outback from Long's Subaru. I purchased my first Outback in 2012 and have had only general maintenance done on the car. Can't wait to buy another new car so I can go back! I went with my husband to buy his new car. His was old and dying. He bought a new car. This isn't his rating though. It's mine. I was stuck with a 2012 Hyundai Veloster (the butthole of the automotive world) with $7500 in negative equity and an almost 16% interest rate. I fell so in love with my husbands new (to him) Subaru Crosstrek, which John helped him select and Ray helped him finance. After some discussion, my husband and I decided that it would be in my best interest to get my own Subaru, if it were possible to offload the Veloster and finance a new car with the added negative equity. John helped me find an awesome brand new Impreza but I still didn't know if financing would be possible. Unfortunately by this point it was 4pm on Saturday and I had to suffer through 2 days of wondering. Let me just say that Ray is the best auto financing guy I have ever met. He somehow managed to find me financing to cover this incredible new car, all of the negative equity of the old car, and got me an amazingly low interest rate. So here I am now, the proud and ridiculously happy owner of the most awesome 2017 Subaru Impreza Sport ever, I have incredible financing, an extended warranty, gap insurance, and the comfort that comes with knowing I didn't get screwed over. Every single person I have talked to about Long Subaru has said they are awesome and the opinion of the Subaru brand itself is just as good. I am happy in the knowledge that when I have to get to work in a snow storm, I will be safe. On a more general note, we interacted 4 total employees, in person and on the phone. We also saw other employees working with other customers in the 5+ hours we were there the first day. Every single person in there is friendly, professional, and personable. The dealership is clean, bright, and inviting. The technology is very up to date (you've gotta see the desk in Ray Brian's office). Everyone seems to genuinely love their jobs and their product and their enthusiasm is very infectious. In addition to all the stuff already mentioned, they have an a very cool coffee machine! More

Never once did we feel rushed or that he wanted to get to another customer etc. We were not sure exactly what kind of car we were going to look at so therefore had been to many dealerships. Matt Orn was the ONLY person, and only dealership that could amswer our questions and gave us a complete tour of the vehicle inside and out prior to test driving the car. Superb experience! More
