I felt I was being "brushed off". The service: I brought in my car for inspection to know if it needed any maintenance or hidden repair that the on-board iDrive computer doesn't show on the iDrive screen. After spending $221.00 and four hours; the service representative (Phan Nou) comes back with a list of things needed that are almost an exact match to what I can see using the car iDrive system (e.g. oil service, spark plug service, etc). Is this why you really pay $221.00 for? Just to have the dealer repeat what the iDrive computer on-board your car has already shown you! Ok...! what about brakes, rotors, safety inspection, etc, did you do any of that? I asked. I really don't need you to repeat what I already know using the iDrive...! Transmission bad diagnosis: The dealer diagnosis was that my car needs a new transmission for $6520.00. I took the car to a private shop for a second opinion. After the specialist inspected the car; only the transmission fluid was low and needed topping off. The transmission now shifts flawlessly like new. This was a total waste of money and time; let alone the bad service quality. I don't believe this dealership is honest or genuine, and I don't recommend them. More
June 30, 2011, I went to LB BMW to purchase a CPO. After looking on the lot I found a 2008 328i with all the features I wanted. Took a test drive and I loved the car but not the price they were asking. We looking on the lot I found a 2008 328i with all the features I wanted. Took a test drive and I loved the car but not the price they were asking. We were $2K off and the sales person would not budge on the price, neither would his manager. They told me I would not find a car for the price I wanted to pay. So I walked. As we were leaving I told my husband, just wait they will call me back on Tuesday if they don't sell the car over the holiday week-end. I continued my search for the right Car. In the meantime LB BMW Customer Service kept calling me daily to talk to me about my experiance with LB BMW. On Sunday, I purchased a car from Nick Alexander BMW. A lower mileage 328i with all the options I wanted for the price I had offered LB BMW. Sure enough, Tuesday afternoon I get a call from the slimy salesman at LB BMW advising me that they were ready to make a deal. Needless to say, I told them to go pound sand. I have since had a good experiance with their service department which I have also rated on here. More
I would never buy a car from this place (see my posting about my sales experiance with LB BMW) but would recommend the service department. Shortly after buying my CPO the brake light came on. The dealers about my sales experiance with LB BMW) but would recommend the service department. Shortly after buying my CPO the brake light came on. The dealership where I purchased my car is not convienent to where I work and could not fit me in so I called the closest dealer to my office, LB BMW. The fit me in that same morning. I dropped off my car and asked Anthony for a shuttle back to my office. He insisted on providing me with a loaner, even though I said a shuttle was good enough. Awesome! He took great care of me and my car. I have since had to go back once for another reason and Anthony again gave me top service. The only negative thing I would say is compared to Circle Audi, LB BMW's waiting area could use an upgrade and more amenities. More
DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! The Internet sales manager did not fully disclose the equipment and related items, as installed on the car. We made the deal over the phone,I provided personal info to manager did not fully disclose the equipment and related items, as installed on the car. We made the deal over the phone,I provided personal info to run credit and to get the lease approved. As a returning BMW customer with excellent credit, I was told over the phone that the agreeded upon price and terms had been approved. When I arrived at the dearlership, I was made to wait at least and hour, as I was told the "deal" was with the sales manager and required his approval. Further, the sales rep didn not disclose over the phone that I would need to return to the dealership to install the satillite radio. Another 80 mile round trip drive. Much more to the story, but no further need to go into detail. This dearlership should not be entrusted to sell BMW's. They deceptive con artists. More
Long Beach Mini was the third dealership I had visited in search of my Mini. I visited South Bay Mini and Nick Alexander but didn't care for the experience there. I decided to take the drive to Long Beach Mi search of my Mini. I visited South Bay Mini and Nick Alexander but didn't care for the experience there. I decided to take the drive to Long Beach Mini and give them a try. As soon as I walked onto the sales floor I wasn't bombarded by salespeople. I saw Mark sitting down and was greeted by a smile and hello. Being that I had visited two other Mini dealerships I already knew exactly what I wanted. Mark was pleasant, kind and very knowledgeable about the brand. Mark answered all my questions. I truly dislike the pressure of dealerships but honestly felt zero pressure at Long Beach Mini. Buying a car is a big experience for most people and it really helps to be assisted with someone that is patient and will answer all your questions. I bought the 2011 Mini Cooper S and I must admit I am a very satisfied customer. And Mark made my experience an easy and pleasant one. I live in the Torrance area and although I live closer to South Bay Mini, I drove the extra distance to Long Beach MIni. I also worked with Bruce Shipper in the finance department. He made the final process of my Mini purchase a good one. And I had my own financing. I've read many negative reviews about this dealership but I guess I got lucky. I only dealt with Mark and Bruce. I would recommend that if you are apprehensive about buying a car and prefer a salesman with patience who doesn't make you feel pressured and stressed. See Mark.... More

Worst Experience Ever Attempts to fix one repair only Worst Experience Ever Attempts to fix one repair only to have other things go wrong in the process for which I am now responsible! I've "heard" of Worst Experience Ever Attempts to fix one repair only to have other things go wrong in the process for which I am now responsible! I've "heard" of their poor service reputation, but stupidly elected to have my car serviced there due to its location. Please be well advised to go elsewhere. More
Bought a used car from a man named Art. Salesman made a BIG deal about how they had inspected the car, and all it needed was some work to the front passenger side outside CV joint and tie rod end. Art said BIG deal about how they had inspected the car, and all it needed was some work to the front passenger side outside CV joint and tie rod end. Art said "nobody else shows you this information, but WE are upfront about what the car needs". Called our mechanic and was told it was about $600-$800 worth of work. We bought the car for $4300. When we finally got it to the machanic, it turned out there was a laundry list of things wrong with the car and the repair bill was closer to $2800. When I pointed this out to the sales manager, his response was "bring it to our Honda dealer in Carson and we can fix it for $2300. Are you kidding me? Buyer beware I understand, but what a joke. This car (with over 100,000 miles on it) that had an original list price of $14,995 is going to wind up costing me over $7,000.00. Avoid these people. If you aren't there to buy a $50k BMW, they turn in to jerks FAST. More
Rude man, made me wait 45 minutes, never looked me in the eye as I politely asked if there was a chance to scan the odb for the ses light, never honored my extended warranty (wouldn't even look at my car rec eye as I politely asked if there was a chance to scan the odb for the ses light, never honored my extended warranty (wouldn't even look at my car record even though it's been serviced there ince 2004. After I patiently wait for his rude little ass, he tells me after all that to make an appointment to scan my SES and that I'd be charged $140 even if I am warrantied... Who hires these people?
