I BOUGHT A 2016 JEEP CHEROKEE FROM THEM 7 MONTHS AGO . I HANDED ROBERT MORALES 5000.00 CASH FOR A DOWN PAYMENT , AND WAS GUARANTEED THAT THE JEEP I WAS BUYING WAS NOT WRECKED OR HAD ANY ISSUES . WHEN WE SAT DOWN TO SIGN PAPERS I ASKED AGAIN ( HAS IT EVER BEEN WRECKED OR HAVE ANY ISSUES WITH THE TITLE ?) LUIS SAID NOT WE DON'T SELL WRECKED CARS . HE THEN HAD ME SIGN A AFFIDAVIT INSTEAD OF A TITLE (RED FLAG ) . I ASK WHY AM I NOT SIGNING THE TITLE AND HE SAID WE DON'T HAVE IT . I HAVE HAD MANY ISSUES WITH IT AND JUST SPENT 2500 ON A NEW FUEL PUMP , I'VE ONLY HAD IT 7 MONTHS . TODAY I WENT TO TRADE IT IN AND FOUND OUT IT HAS A BRANDED MANUFACTURER BUYBACK LEMON TITLE AND IT HAS BEEN WRECKED. WELL SO MUST FOR BEING HONEST LUIS . SPOKE TO ROBERT MORALES THE OWNER AND TOLD HOME I WANT BACK EVERY DIME I PAID TO THEM WHICH IS 10,000 . I WAS TOLD TO F MYSELF AND HE SAID CALL A LAWYER . yelled at, threatened, hung up on - no refund for GAP/EXT. W This has been the worst car and business experience of my life. I purchased a car from Lonestar Motorcars LLC in 2017 and traded it in recently. I hav This has been the worst car and business experience of my life. I purchased a car from Lonestar Motorcars LLC in 2017 and traded it in recently. I have been paying for GAP insurance and an extended warranty that was rolled into my loan. After the trade-in, I called Lonestar to inquire about my pro-rated refund for both warranties. They told me they are not responsible for the refund and told me to call the company that financed the car. I called the finance company and they assured me that the refund would come from Lonestar. Again, I called Lonestar, and they told me to call the company they bought the warranties from. I called that company, and they also told me Lonestar is responsible for the refund. (By the way, this company no longer does business with Lonestar Motorcars because of these types of business practices.) When I asked the insurance company about the extended warranty I was told it was cancelled by Lonestar Motorcars one month after I purchased it, even though I continued paying on it for two years. Hmmmm...Did Lonestar pocket the money? It sure seems that way. (There are more reviews about this business that claim the same thing – sell of an extended warranty and then cancellation by the company.) Also, when I called to get my pro-rated return for my GAP insurance and extended warranty, Tony (at Lonestar) yelled at me on the phone, hung up on me three times and dared me to call the Better Business Bureau. He would not put me through to a manager or another salesperson. He said, "Lady, by the time you figure out how to get this money back, it's only going to be 300-$400 and that's not worth your time or mine." Lonestar says they cannot give me a copy of my original contract. Tony also told me to get on another line "and talk to some Indian person." When I said that was racist, he hung up on me again. I finally had to call from another number and give a false name so he would put me through to someone else. They still have not helped me get my refund and will not return my calls. I've never been treated so poorly in my life, especially not by a company with which I've done business. RUN AWAY! IT IS NOW MARCH 19, 2020: CHANNEL 5 NEWS IS INVOLVED, BUT MR. MORALES HAS YET TO SEND ME THE MONEY HE OWES ME. HE IS ALSO TRYING TO GIVE ME $600 LESS THAN THE AMOUNT HE OWES ME AND ONLY IF I TAKE DOWN REVIEWS. More
Car was painted pretty much all front , fenders and more Car was painted pretty much all front , fenders the a pillar and pretty much all front and more , also had electronic problems like the wipers would a Car was painted pretty much all front , fenders the a pillar and pretty much all front and more , also had electronic problems like the wipers would act crazy fast if i have em in slow speed, blind spot sometimes doesn’t work, signal light also wont work always and sometime the Ac doesn’t start , i have to shut it of and back on to get it going. After i took the car from them after 2 days check engine light came on and it was air flow sensor or something like that, 900$ just the part. Very disappointed! More

This place is unprofessional once they sale you a vehicle that’s pretty much it they won’t nothing else to do with you and won’t answer your phones either. All I was trying to do was buy me a gift to celebrate my 10 year anniversary for serving our country but these guys don’t appreciate that . I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy to this shop More
BEWARE I found this dealer from cars.com and trusted the mostly positive recommendations on here. However, I wish I had gone on Google and read those as well as there seems to be an ever growing number of experiences similar to mine. Their responses are all copy and paste word for word to each person, extremely generic, and devoid of any real compassion to correct their behaviors. If there was an option for negative stars, I'd absolutely give them their fair share or negative for the xxxx I've been through since purchasing a vehicle from them. I purchased a vehicle back in October 2016. Firstly, they sold me a vehicle with tires so dangerously bald, that within under 3 weeks, the car began to shake violently. I was told one of them could have blown out on the way home from buying it, it was that bad. I replaced them and moved on, though I was already beginning to feel taken advantage of at this point. When December approached and I still hadnt received my tags and plates, I decided to call them. I explained to them the temporary registration by this time was nearly expired and I was concerned that I still hadn't received a call or email. I was told "the state was extremely behind and that they had many customers with the same issue. " I was also told that he had no solution for the fact that I may receive a ticket for driving my car once it expired. I advised him that I had moved and asked if he was positive that I couldn't have missed them. He declined to take my new address, told me to "have fun" and ended the call. This story was the same when I called again about my tags later. No one wanted to take responsibility, no one wanted to get my new address, and no one cared that I couldn't legally drive my car. When I was forced to contact DMV, I was informed that the car had had tags assigned since November. I just received them in June after I had to ask for a manager, and call them out for lying to me. They told me they'd sent them to my old address and had them returned so they were just sitting on a desk. Again... no would take my new address when I said I had moved, no one checked on this when I called, and no one called/emailed me when they returned. Now we come to present day, when I find out that I can't even get out from under this disaster. No ethical, reputable dealer will take my car as they sold me a vehicle with not one but two safety recalls. Luckily, one can be taken in and repaired immediately.... the other one that involves the possibility of the air bag killing me if I were involved in a collion..cannot be corrected anytime soon. Both recalls were announced prior to the purchase... I'd like to say when I call the dealer tomorrow that they'll have been unaware and offer to help, but I highly doubt it. At this point, I have no faith in them. They saw a young, newly on her own female who had no family in a new state and took advantage... and I feel sick at this point. I refuse to put this car up for sale knowing it's dangerous, just as any other dealer with a conscience would have. SO PLEASE...PLEASE.. don't be like me. Stay away, far away. Go somewhere with more than mostly good reviews in one place. Go somewhere well known to be honest. And if you are someone like me, let's help each other... post as many reviews as you can, file complaints with DMV, and help keep this from happening to others. Don't believe me, look through reviews on Google and read those with the same generic word for word response. Look at BBB, they have awful ratings and don't respond to complaints. I never post reviews and I'm posting this every single place I can. More

No Pressure, quick and easy JC was my salesman, I knew the car I was interested in and didn't need to look around. I sent off a note from the website and JC called me to set up an appointment for a test drive within a couple hours. My week was very busy and I had little time to spare. JC was patient and helpful. No pressure at all from him. I knew getting financed was going to be a challenge. I was expecting an outrageous finance rate. When JC sat me down with Cisco the finance guy, I was relieved. Cisco was a little nervous to show me the rate I think. Knowing that my credit had been torn to shreds, I was pleasantly surprised with the deal he presented to me. Did I get a great deal? On the price of the vehicle, Yes. The financing? No, and that is my fault. I think they gave me the best rate they could get me and it was much better than I expected., Overall, I am very pleased by my experience with Lone Star. Quick, easy and best of all....No vultures to deal with. JC and Cisco, thanks for getting me into the vehicle I was looking for! Mark More
