On 9/19/20 I visited Lone Star Toyota of Lewisville on Stemmons Freeway. I have been in contact multiple times with Miguel Cardenas and had firmed up a price and deal on a used car that was listed on the Stemmons Freeway. I have been in contact multiple times with Miguel Cardenas and had firmed up a price and deal on a used car that was listed on their website. The price was plainly listed. On 9/18 I had worked out my financing arrangements through Capital One on that exact car stk number LX947899B. I emailed my approval showing all of the costs, interest rate etc to Lone Star, and Miguel. I asked him show this to his sales manager and make sure we were good to go, as I didn’t want games and any surprises upon my arrival. I set an appointment for 12:15 pm with Miguel. So far so good. This is where it went terribly bad. I showed up at 12:10 to be prompt. Miguel had other customers that just showed up. That was not a big issue. After waiting about 30 min, Miguel came by and gave us water and a seat on the floor. I was informed after another 30 min that there was an issue with the ac blower on the car and they were looking at it prior to pulling it around. An hour later finally we were led back to see the car still being worked on as a fuse was damaged. Finally I was getting tired of waiting, So I asked them to save time to start the paperwork. I gave them the necessary documents and went forward. Finally I was able to take it to the car for a drive. Car was fine, but evidently their 120 point inspection doesn’t check power mirrors as neither side worked, along with the tint being bubbled and a big rock chip in the front glass. This is where it goes real bad. Miguel comes up from the “manager” den with my buyers sheet. The agreed upon price was the same, but they had added a 995 dollar maintenance plan to the cost of the car, that in Miguels words was to cover the cost of the items that had been done to the car in the service department. I was explained that it was not some sort of additional warranty, which would provide any benefit to me after leaving. Needless to say I was not willing to pay for that and asked them to take off the 995.00. Miguel told me they were already losing 2k on the car and they WOULD NOT SELL ME THE CAR AT THE ADVERTISED PRICE UNLESS I PAID THE 995.00 MAINTENCE PACKAGE. My reaction was not pleasant. I had driven 2 hours and made to wait over 3.5 hours only to get the same ole car salesman run around that I had worked very hard to avoid. I cant give lower than one star or I would . Bottom line they lied to me, waisted my time, and I left the car there. Its sad to know the same old car salesman SLEEZE is still alive and well at LONE STAR TOYOTA OF LEWISVILLE. BUYER BE GOOD AT MATH AND BEWARE. More
I took Toyota Corolla for regular free car inspection, which was included. I tell the service guy Michael that it is covered under the plan and he tells me that I am frustrated with him. That is not the w which was included. I tell the service guy Michael that it is covered under the plan and he tells me that I am frustrated with him. That is not the way to talk to your customer. I did not like his attitude. I did not appreciate his customer service. I had taken another car two months back had no problem. Michael needs to learn how to talk to a customer. More

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Did not take one iota of a second to fix my problem, show any concern, or have any empathy. Then I called to make a complaint and they tried to make me feel take one iota of a second to fix my problem, show any concern, or have any empathy. Then I called to make a complaint and they tried to make me feel that I was in the wrong. I will never go back to this dealership for anything and will tell anyone and everyone not to go to this dealership based off this one experience. More
This is the type of dealership that gives the car buying business a bad name. Did a lot of research for what was a fair price for the truck I was looking for. Got a quote from TrueCar with an estimated pri business a bad name. Did a lot of research for what was a fair price for the truck I was looking for. Got a quote from TrueCar with an estimated price that was on the lower end but still in the range of what other dealerships were offering. Chose to check out this location first due to it being my preferred color and trim. I test drove the vehicle and spoke to a very nice sales associate and indicated I would be interested in the car for the right price. Her manager or finance person then came over an outlined outrageous costs for the car. The total was over 10k more than what truecar quoted and about 5k over what their own website shows. All before tax title and license. Not really interested in paying nearly 15k over what I saw online, I indicated that the price seemed high. They basically charge full MSRP then add on a “lone star package” and a “security package” that add 5k to the cost of the car. He made it sound like those extras were upgrades to the car but that was already added to to the MSRP as noted on the car sticker. He also acted like the car really should have been more but they reduced the MSRP and that the rebate was something they helped us out with rather than being a manufacture incentive. Tried to negotiate but sales manager was obviously more interested in making 10k off a car rather than actually making a fair sale. Not sure what I find worse, the fact that they use false advertising to waste people’s time to try to come to the dealership to overcharge them or the fact that uninformed buyers will pay full price plus 5k.
