2 years ago I purchased a used car from this dealership. They were great, and everything went very well. So when my car started having problems My father and I thought we would call and see if there was any They were great, and everything went very well. So when my car started having problems My father and I thought we would call and see if there was anything they might be able to do to help us out. They assured us they could get us into a new car and that we should come in and they would get us squared away. All I needed to do was send them my information and I could leave with a car the next day. Cool. So I go up there, my father was co-signing and sent his stuff in prior, and I wait. I wait for 3 hours. Every update I get sounds like "We are working on it" or "Just a little bit longer, we think we found something that will work for you." Cool. At around that third hour someone comes up and says " We found something for you, and got it squared away with our credit department. We don't have the VIN number yet, because we are having a shortage on cars. If you come back Monday we will have a car for you, and all you will have to do is sign the papers and you will be good to go." That makes sense. Sure. I took off Monday, because I knew I was going to need to go up there. Before I left, I thought I would call to see if they had an ETA on when I would need to be there. They said "We are still trying to work this out with the bank." I told them I didn't understand why, because I had been promised that it was being taken care of, and all I would have to do is show up. Then I was told "I don't understand why someone would have said that because it's not true." Um. Weird. So I said I didn't understand why that would be said, or why it was taking so long. He said, and I quote, "Its taking a long time because you have bad credit. That's not our fault." First of all. I don't let my family talk to me like that, I am sure not gonna let a stranger do it. Second if you can't do anything SAY THAT. In case you were wondering how this ended, they ran my credit 16 times. 13 of those did not have my consent. We were lied to by multiple people through out the entire process. We have been at this for a MONTH, and the service department is being helpful, but that does not take away from fact they took my credit and RAN IT INTO THE GROUND instead of owning up to an inability to do something. Lies, lies, and more lies. That's what this business has to offer you. They say when you buy from them you are family. What they don't tell you is that they mean your toxic family. More
