I am beyond irritated, tonight around 7:30 I called this dealership to inquire on 2 vehicles. Tristan answered the phone and was seemingly helpful. He confirm he still had the 2 cars, he asked if I was free dealership to inquire on 2 vehicles. Tristan answered the phone and was seemingly helpful. He confirm he still had the 2 cars, he asked if I was free at 1pm on Monday to come by, I looked at my calendar while on the phone and told him I had a conference call/work during that time. I did agree to call him Monday to see what other times may work best. He gave me his cell number which I wrote down. I went back to the website to continue browsing and I noticed the time the dealership closed, 9pm. So I called back to confirm hours. He said that they close at 9. I said ok because if it's is 9 I can make it tonight. But if it's 8 I won't because I would be coming from 30+ miles away. He said that was fine, and it was 9 for sure. He said he would have the cars pulled up- he would let his manager know I was on the way! So I left the house. Keep in mind the first time we spoke on the phone this evening I expressed I didn't want to be there long- he said he has closed entire business deals in a half an hour! So I wouldn't have to spend all day at the dealership. I trusted that. I figured showing up a few minutes after 8 when they close at 9 wouldn't be a problem for Tristan. During my drive I called halfway there just to let him Know I was still en route. The phone just Rang and rang. I didn't bring my notebook with me with his cell number on it. I pulled up at the dealership a little after 8, I got to the side door where the cut vinyl lettering has the hours open until 9 Monday- Saturday. I call again as I'm walking in as it seems like a ghost town. Am I in the right place?? I thought. Neither of the cars I inquired about were pulled up front - I enter to find an empty dealership with the phone ringing off the hook. I decide to hang up, I went to the left and went up a small flight of stairs. There was a gentleman in the office. I poked my head in and said excuse me, he kindly asked how he could help. I told him I was looking for Tristan. He said that Tristan had left. WHAT?'?!?! He was gone. Everyone was gone. Except this kind nice dressed gentleman who said everyone calls him CC. I was pissed. I said ok well, is there anyone else who can assist me??? He got up from his desk to go and look. He came in a few minutes later and was super real with me. There's no one here. But he would compensate me for my gas. I said good because I won't be back. I handed him my key and we had a nice talk on the way to my 2021 Hyundai Palisade. Why would I want to trade in such a nice car? I explained to him how my situation had changed and I just don't drive it much anymore. He listened to me rattle on about how much I liked my car and the guy/dealership I bought it from (Michael Lang @ Huffines McKinney!!!) Anyways. That's the star. For CC for fueling up my car and giving it a quick wash for my wasted time. Thank you CC! Your kindness does not go unrecognized. However Tristan needs some additional training on customer service and the impact building relationships have on business. Ugh. What a literal waste of time. More

Located a Toyota Corolla online and visited the dealership with my daughter the following morning just after opening and pulled in front of the main building where we walked a short distance to the dealership with my daughter the following morning just after opening and pulled in front of the main building where we walked a short distance to the vehicle we were interested in. After several minutes and no salesman in sight, I called and asked for a salesman to come assisted me. We test drove the vehicle, and offered to purchase the vehicle for the advertised price. We were advised of a $2000 security package that would be added to the advertised price. I again offered the advertised price and was turned down. I asked the salesman if he thought that advertising a price to get someone in and then increasing the price $2000 was deceitful and his response was "well, yes" but every dealership is doing it due to a very high demand for used vehicles. We thanked him for his time and left. One hour later we were at Freeman Toyota in Hurst and had great experience. More
One, when I walked in door, the receptionist and another gentlemen started a conversation between themselves. They were discussing schedules and overtime, and ignored the fact I was there. This went on fo gentlemen started a conversation between themselves. They were discussing schedules and overtime, and ignored the fact I was there. This went on for 1-2 minutes. They finally acknowledged me. The gentleman who was not the receptionist introduced himself as one of the managers, Michael, and connected with me a salesman. Two, the salesman and his trainee (I’m sorry, I forgot their names) were nice and helpful. They pulled up the two Corollas I was interested in. One of them pointed out how Lone Star adds window tint, wheel locks, and some door protectors. I asked him how much this package was and he stated $1,995. I explained to him that window tint runs $200 and wheel locks are $25, and I refuse to pay ten times market value for these items. He said these are mandatory dealer add-ons and I did not have a choice. I almost left at this point, but since I was there figured I might as well see what their offer was first. Three, the salesman then pointed out that both of these cars had over 2,000 miles on them because they had been letting people borrow them. I asked if they were being sold as demos, but he said no - these are still considered new cars. I’m sorry, but 2k+ miles is not a “new” car. Four, as I expected by now, when I received my offer sheet there was no discount for the mileage on the vehicles. Finally, I visited four other Toyota dealerships in DFW who gave me appraisals for my trade-in. The average offer from the other four dealerships prior to any negotiations was $7,700. Lone Star offered me $3,500. I do not know why Lone Star’s offer was less than half of their competitors’ because I did not stick around to find out. At this point way too much of my time had been wasted and I left immediately. More
