Called Lone star and made an appt to get my car inspected, spoke to a real person, they even sent me a text reminding me. I toke my truck in for service because it stuttered on acceleration. I was told nothing was wrong with it. 2.5 months later after it was still doing the same thing. I toke it back. This time I was told there was multiple things wrong with a hefty price tag that I was unable to pay at the time. I picked up my truck and it sat over the weekend. When I drove it on that Monday, my children and I were left stranded on the highway after alarms went off and it ran hot. I had it towed to another mechanic and was told my fluids were empty and I'd either been scammed or someone was extremely negligent. He made the repairs for half the cost and many which were caused by the negligence of your mechanics. The issue that I initially went in for only needed to be remedied by a flush. I've been coming to this dealership for years with my truck and never had an issue. But, I always went with what was suggested. I couldn't this time and paid for it! More
My 2019 Chevrolet Silverado broke down out of town and was initially diagnosed by repair shop as fuel pump which is back ordered 1-4 months. Called Lone Star several times and spoke with someone asking for a call back to assist with repair and getting my vehicle over there. Never received a call back, then I emailed the General Manager and never received a response back from him so after a weeks time and truck sitting 6 hours away I stopped in to speak with service department. Was initially told by service rep that truck is out of warranty and if its fuel pump I am basically SOL. I asked to speak with a manager and complained that I could'nt get a call back, GM never responded and I was stuck with 2019 Silverado I bought from them that was broken and 6 hours away and best they could do is say sorry ???? The service manager offered to speak to the shop where it was and opened a ticket so that if I could get my truck there they would diagnose and take it from there on the repairs. Ultimately I was able to get my truck over to Lone Star and they had it diagnosed and fixed within a few days and back end of service was great from my service advisor (Doug) and shop foreman (Brian). I would say though not be called back after multiple calls to service department and speaking with operator, and not a single response from GM when I asked for help left a very bad taste. More
I arrived, on time, for an 8:00 am appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. I informed then that I would be waiting there for the vehicle. I did not leave the facility. At no time did anyone approach me to explain or apologize for the long time it was taking them to complete the service, I approached them, after two hours to inquire what was taking so long and the service agent showed us our truck was on the lift. no explanation or apology for it taking so long. POOR SERVICE More
The dealership took my car in a timely manner, changed the oil and battery. They also changed one of two damaged front spoilers, but I had to show they didn’t replace the second damaged spoiler.
