My 2016 F150 died at the gas station. I had it towed into the dealer. Service advisor told me he was pretty sure he could get me in on Friday afternoon. After repeated follow ups he called me the following Tuesday afternoon to say it needed a new starter. He couldn't tell me when he could get it because of the parts shortage. Truck was done on Wednesday for $500+ for a new starter. Then he told me it needed a brake job because the brake fluid was low. (Same dealer had recently replaced the master cylinder on a recall, if it was low it was because they failed to fill it.) I inspected the brake pads when I got the truck back, they are fine. 1. If you can't get to it right away it would be nice if you could be honest so I could make other plans. 2. 89,000 miles on a starter is pretty poor for modern cars. My Mazda6 has 210,000 miles and the original starter. 3. Starters at local auto parts stores are $70 to $80. 4. I can't say if the service advisor was being dishonest about the brakes, low brake fluid can be a sign that the pads are getting thin, but considering they had serviced it recently this leaves them in a bad light. This was a difficult experience! It definitely could have been more positive if I had received correct information from the get-go. It took 3 visits to the dealership & over a week of leaving my truck to been more positive if I had received correct information from the get-go. It took 3 visits to the dealership & over a week of leaving my truck to get it fixed correctly! Once the truck was fixed I found out from George that they had received 2 defective cameras which they installed and then found out were not working and thus, I had to wait for a 3rd one so that they could fix the original problem. I was never given this information from the beginning. The process for repair was time consuming but I would not have gotten upset if I knew what was happening with the camera situation. Polly came to my rescue when she took over the repair and then I had excellent communication and knew what was happening with the repair to my truck. She does an outstanding job all of the time. She cares about her customers and treats them with great respect. I have been using this dealership for over 10 years and have always been satisfied with the quality of the service work that has been performed on my trucks. I actually purchased a truck from you. I sincerely hope that I will receive quality service every time I come. More

Sadly, after 5 years of candidly, going out of my way to being a LOYAL, GRATEFUL and APPRECIATIVE customer of Lombard (Service dept), I will absolutely NO LONGER will be conducting any business with Lombard being a LOYAL, GRATEFUL and APPRECIATIVE customer of Lombard (Service dept), I will absolutely NO LONGER will be conducting any business with Lombard. It is really a pity and candidly insulting how they conducted themselves during my last (religiously and maniacally adhered to) 4k "the Works" package. The only person I will miss is Henry.
