Lokey Kia responded

I wanted to take the time to respond to the review you sent in...our dealership didn't try to deceive or "lure" you into visiting our store, you had located a vehicle on the internet using the USAA buying program if I recall. The vehicle unfortunately was sold, it happens that way occasionally, but we went above and beyound to find a substitute vehicle to fit your needs. All your questions were address promptly, and we had a finance manager there to answer questions about that end of the process. At the point of delivery even though it was after hours we had the vehicle cleaned and ready for you to drive home. Everyone seemed very happy with the vehicle selected, the price of the vehilce and the terms of the loan. I'm not sure why someone would just hang up on your call, and I apologize if that indeed happened. We are committed to providing high quality customer service, but based on your review, you did not share that experience. That is very disappointing to us, and will work with you to resolve any issues with your experience at our dealership. Please contact me directly if I can be of any help in the future, and we do appreciate your feedback Thanks for your time, Rick Rizzo Lokey Kia New Car Sales Mgr. 727.710.2673

In response to Rick's embarrassing (and factually incorrect) rebuttal of my initial review: 1. Maher sent us an email the day before we went to Lokey Kia indicating the car we wanted was in stock. When we arrived, we were told the car hadn't been in stock for months. If that isn't "luring" us into the dealership, then the associate just didn't bother to actually read the email to which he responded. There was even a picture of the car in the email. Maybe all the email responses from Lokey Kia are canned. 2. We didn't finance the vehicle through Lokey Kia (or anyone, for that matter). We paid cash. We never spoke with a finance manager much less a helpful finance manager that answered all of our questions, because we didn't have any finance questions. We weren't "happy" with our finance negotations because... well, they didn't exist. That entire statement was completely false, fabricated and misleading. 3. We drove the car directly from the lot. It was not cleaned out prior to us driving it home. This just further reiterates the lack of professionalism and attention to detail displayed by this dealership. It seems all responses from this dealership are canned and and do not actually take in account what really happened. It is very difficult to adequately respond to a complaint, when the time isn't taken to know what the complaint is about.
