Martin Loeber immigrated to Illinois from Germany back in the 1920s. This was that land of opportunity, and he simply wanted to earn enough money to buy a farm back home in Germany. He started by selling Chevys in 1928, and quickly set his sights higher. He fell in love with the automotive industry, and just a few years later in 1936, he opened his first dealership in Downtown Chicago.
After 80 years, and two generations, Loeber Motors is still going strong, and we are proud to own this Mercedes-Benz, Sprinter, and Smart car dealership right here in Chicago.
With our 80,000 square-foot facility, we have set ourselves up to serve all of your Mercedes-Benz, Sprinter, and Smart needs. In fact, we offer one of the largest combined Mercedes-Benz, Smart, and Sprinter retail and service facilities in the Midwest.

Yes, they must be doing something right from sales to service I give them a 5 star. I was shopping the net on Car Quotes and they were the first dealership to contact me. I had a total of five contact me. I thought, what the heck, why not go to Loeber first. Needless to say the experience was pleasant. James JaJaou was my salesman and I felt no pressure to buy. He took his time answering all my question so I didn't feel it was necessary to visit the other dealerships. Loeber made me feel at home. More
