Martin Loeber immigrated to Illinois from Germany back in the 1920s. This was that land of opportunity, and he simply wanted to earn enough money to buy a farm back home in Germany. He started by selling Chevys in 1928, and quickly set his sights higher. He fell in love with the automotive industry, and just a few years later in 1936, he opened his first dealership in Downtown Chicago.
After 80 years, and two generations, Loeber Motors is still going strong, and we are proud to own this Mercedes-Benz, Sprinter, and Smart car dealership right here in Chicago.
With our 80,000 square-foot facility, we have set ourselves up to serve all of your Mercedes-Benz, Sprinter, and Smart needs. In fact, we offer one of the largest combined Mercedes-Benz, Smart, and Sprinter retail and service facilities in the Midwest.

Wow! You cannot beat Loeber I can to look at the convertibles on the showroom floor and left with a beautiful C300 2018 Convertible. Sid Rabin was my Salesperson and he was exce I can to look at the convertibles on the showroom floor and left with a beautiful C300 2018 Convertible. Sid Rabin was my Salesperson and he was excellent---went out of his way to explain how the car worked and got me the deal I wanted. Justin McCormack was excellent as well and really made the lease process seamless. This was a great experience for me and hope to always return to Loeber. More
