Hi Mr. Judin, My name is Lauren Lyons and I am the Customer Relations Manager here at Livermore Toyota. In reference to your above post on 11/28/18 and after researching your concern we wanted to share our findings. We put every vehicle in our inventory through an extensive pre-delivery inspection, in addition every certified Toyota vehicle has a 159 point inspection that examines the brakes in multiple areas in which I can send you a copy of. Upon the pre-delivery inspection I found that this vehicle had one new tire installed during recon and the other three tires were at 5/32 tread life. This meets Toyota Certified standards. Your vehicle, when purchased had 22,558 miles. When you brought your vehicle in for the first service to Dublin Toyota at 28,600 miles (6,000 miles after purchase) their service adviser tried to up sell tires because two tires were at 4/32 and one at 3/32. After receiving your call and hearing your frustrations, we offered a discount on new tires at our internal pricing. When you came in on November 15th with 28,623 and purchased 4 new Michelin latitude tires, we honored the internal pricing and sold you three tires at $227, one tire at $33, and only $50 labor. We apologize for the frustration this may have caused, and your feedback is so very important to us so that we may continue to grow and offer a seamless car buying/servicing experience for our guests.
