On one of my first service visits, I was fortunate to get Rick Souza as my representative and ever since I always make sure to ask for him. Rick is very thorough, honest and he has the best interests of the customer at heart. I once brought my Prius in for a "Check Engine" issue and the result would have been a very expensive repair job, however, Rick took the time to review my file and he saw that I had an extended warranty and the issue was fully covered. Misdiagnosis and overcharging. Rick Souza told me it would cost approximately $600.00 to fix my trunk latch. He said the actuator assembly needed to be replaced, $285.00. I took the Rick Souza told me it would cost approximately $600.00 to fix my trunk latch. He said the actuator assembly needed to be replaced, $285.00. I took the car to another shop. They had the trunk latch working in less than 10 minutes with no new actuator..The other shop found that my brake fluid was very low. Very strange since Livermore Toyota had just performed a major service on the car. More
