We visited Lithia because our 2001 Subaru Forester had been totalled in a crash. I was the driver, and because the car was destroyed but I was unhurt, we decided to buy another Forester. Lithia had outstanding online reviews and they had two late-model Foresters we wanted to look at. When we arrived, Travis Smith, Lithi'a Internet Manager, told us that he could sell us a base-model, brand-new Forester for the same price as a used 2009 or 2010 model. We weren't interested in all the options, so we test-drove the new car and immediately loved it. We spent about three hours at the dealership, including the time it took them to bring the car in the color we wanted from a dealership in Portland, gas it, and clean it up. Those were three hours well-spent. Travis was courteous and friendly and concerned that we were comfortable while we were waiting. We never felt rushed or pressured -- they had new cars to sell and they were willing to sell them at a good price. I'd rather buy a new car because the old one wore out rather than in the wake of an accident, but this process was easy. Thanks to Travis and to everyone at Lithia Subaru of Oregon City! More

David and the crew did not act like manipulative idiots like the sales staff that I've dealt with at every dealership I've ever been to. I can't express enough that putting on a slick act is a HUGE turn like the sales staff that I've dealt with at every dealership I've ever been to. I can't express enough that putting on a slick act is a HUGE turn off and makes me want to walk out. David was the "guy next door". He didn't put on an act, he was just a real dude, like me. Same goes for every employee I worked with during my purchase and accessory installation. I LOVE this place. David went the extra mile to make sure I was WELL taken care of at every turn. He was very thoughtful and kept in touch with me via email when necessary. David was also very patient with me when I was unprepared with needed documents. David even drove me home in my trade-in and helped me take my roof bike carrier off. It's no wonder that I see so many Subaru license plate frames on the road that say "Lithia Subaru". I CAN'T STRESS ENOUGH HOW IMPORTANT IT IS FOR AUTO SALES PROFESSIONALS TO JUST BE "NORMAL" INDIVIDUALS, AND NOT ACT LIKE POLITICIANS. PEOPLE AREN'T STUPID AND DON'T WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE PREY. These guys are absolutely great, and they clearly have a customer first attitude and ethic. I must have stopped by 5 times in the last month before I pulled the trigger on my new Outback and Travis was very customer first attitude and ethic. I went back and forth on colors, which package I wanted, etc. One day I stopped in on his day off and he was there of course. He apparently loves his job! They sweetened the deal on my trade, offering me more than any other dealer had, which got me off the fence. I worked with Gene to test drive my actual car and finish the deal. I drove that darn thing all over the place, even to my house and he never complained once - ha ha. The paperwork was completed in about an hour and the Finance manager (Chris) was very professional. There was no pressure to buy extra packages or warranties, which I appreciated because I never get those things. Just the car please. Gene followed up with the car orientation, service info, etc and I was on my way. All in all this was an absolutely painless and enjoyable experience - the best dealership sales experience I've ever had in my life and I've bought a lot of cars. I highly recommend Lithia Subaru for the customer-first culture they have created, and Travis and Gene for their efforts to make me happy. Cheers. More

This is by far the best experience I have had with any dealership in the last 10 years whether I was purchasing for myself or helping a friend. I cannot attest for the other salesman, but Travis is admirable and proficient. Pros (whole experience): Great price No hassle, no pressure Easy process Very friendly Excellent service Cons: None. I wish they were located closer. At one point I was juggling six different Subaru dealerships, through internet sales, trying to find the car I wanted for the price I wanted. My local dealership (Dick Hannah) was getting the one but would not budge on my trade-in or the final price of the car. Carr Subaru had one and offered a great price but I read so many horror stories, from user reviews, there was no way I was going to buy from them. Everyone else did not have what I wanted and needed 8~10 weeks to have it delivered. Lithia Subaru was the farthest from me (live in Vancouver) so I tried them last but it would have saved me an immense amount of time and effort had I done so in the beginning. Travis emailed me back quickly to get the details of what I was looking for. They did not have it in their inventory but he found one nearby and offered to get it if I was interested. Within the same day he quoted me a lower price and higher trade-in value than I had been offered in the three weeks worth of searching. Normally I try to weigh the pros and cons, see if there's some kind of angle and make sure I am making the right decision but I didn't have to in this case; the choice was easy. The entire experience at the dealership was simple and enjoyable. Even though Travis was busy when I first arrived everyone else made me feel very welcome. The interior is nice. Comfortable leather chairs, couches, free refreshments and snacks. Travis took me out to see and test drive my car and then was completely ready to go with all the necessary paperwork. Not one of those instances where they're running around saying they need to make copies or print out something or anything they could have done before I got there. The price was good enough I was expecting something to happen; one of those, "well this wasn't included in the quote", or, "we didn't realize such and such about your trade-in so the value will be less." There wasn't any of that; both the price and the trade-in stayed the same as I was originally quoted. No hassle, no further negotiating. They offered extended warranties and maintenance packages but the moment I said I was not interested I never heard about it again. I did a lot of research on financing either through several banks or using the Subaru incentive. They had mentioned some of the banks they use over the phone so I checked and found they had very good user reviews. Needless to say, I was surprised because I'm used to dealerships getting you one way or another. I let them run my credit just to see and they were able to get me much lower than even the incentive that was being offered. Besides, worst case scenario I can refinance through another bank, they're hungry enough, but I don't need to. In summary, best deal I found with the best service and easiest process I have ever encountered at a dealership. I would absolutely recommend them. Thank you Travis! More
