This is the second brand new Subaru I have bought from Lithia Subaru, both from the sales associate, David Castillo. I found working with Mr. Castillo very unintimidating and supportive. His mission is truly helping his customer get exactly what s/he wants, even when the customer her/himself is not exactly sure what that is. With David Castillo there is no hard sell or pressure; he just does his best to make the purchase possible for the customer with a calm, friendly and patient demeanor that helps everything go smoothly and easily. For my sale, Mr. Castillo drove my new car from Oregon City to my home in SE Portland and then all the way to the airport to return a rental car and then back to Oregon City. He did this willingly and cheerfully after a long, exhausting day and many hours of working through the details of the sale. This was immensely helpful as I did not have anyone that night who could help with the return of the rental car. Mr. Castillo just took it as a given that he would help[ with these tasks, no questions asked. He has made it clear that he will stay in touch and help with any questions or issues I may have with the new Forrester. Also noteworthy was Rick, the business office person who carefully and cheerfully with a good sense of humor explained each form that I had to sign. His friendly, upbeat attitude was an uplifting breath of fresh air just as my energy had begun to wane after spending several hours at the dealership. The overall atmosphere of Lithia Subaru is one of personal, concerned service that is sensitive to each person's individuality and needs.
