I reached out to find out why they were not communicating, and the salesman said it is pre-sold. Typical used car salesman tactics. Sleezy, terrible communication and they take advantage of customers. Avoid this place if you value your time and money! More

I purchased 2020 Ford Mustang from Lithia Nissan of Clovis on 3rd July, 2023. On the 4th, I took a test driving trip to San Francisco Bay Area and visited my friend's home in Fremont. I parked the car Clovis on 3rd July, 2023. On the 4th, I took a test driving trip to San Francisco Bay Area and visited my friend's home in Fremont. I parked the car at my friend's home. When I tried to leave my friend's home, I couldn't swift P to R or D and couldn't get out of parking. The swifter doesn't work at all. I called Gabriel Vazquez, the sale representative of Lithia Nissan of Clovis. We talked on FaceTime and I showed him the issue of the gear. I had to open the cover of the gear and had to use a screw driver to push something inside the swifter so that I could get the car out of parking and start to drive. On the 5th of July, 2023, I delivered the vehicle to the service center at Lithia Nissan of Clovis. Derek Lanas, the service advisor, said some parts of the gear system need to be replaced. They have to order that parts and I had to wait until 21st of July, 2023. I visited the service center on 20th July to know any updates about the vehicle. Derek told me the whole gear had been replaced with a new one. But, the vehicle is still having the same problem and they have to send the vehicle to Lithia Ford to fix this issue (the swifter problem). On 22nd July, 2023 I called Derek and asked for any updates about the issue. He said there was no update. He responded to me irresponsibly. At least, he should have called the mechanic from Lithia Ford and asked for updates. I visited the service center again on 25th July, 2023 and asked Derek for any update about the vehicle. He said Lithia Ford is still trying to fix the issue. So, I have to wait. I asked "How long do I have to wait as it has been for three weeks since I delivered the vehicle to them on the 5th?" Derek said "We can do nothing?" I told him the contract needs to be cancelled if they can't complete repairing the vehicle on 4th August, 2023. They have professional mechanics and that's their job to tell me what's going on with this vehicle (Ford Mustang). I have to make the first monthly payment on 17th August according to the contract. But, I car is still in their hands. The interest is accumulating each day from the date of purchase. I don't know how long they'll take until they have fixed this issue. On the other sides, I'm now talking to my legal team to take this issue to the court if Lithia Nissan of Clovis can't complete the repairing of this Ford Mustang on 4th August, 2023. If I cancel the contract, they'll deduct the cancellation fee from the down payment I made on the day of purchase of this vehicle. So, I won't cancel the contract. I'll make them cancel the contract and refund me full amount of the down payment I made + the cost of gas I had to spend to commute from home to their office + all the times I have to spend to visit their service center in person as I do not get any phone call to know the last updates of my vehicle. That's a horrendous experience dealing with Lithia Nissan of Clovis. My first experience with them is the worst experience. I don't want more people to be victims like me. So, stay away from this dealer. It has been almost one month since my car is in their hands. They haven't contacted me and told me any updates. That really sucks! More

We have purchased a dozen used cars in Fresno/Clovis the past 2 decades and this is the first time we have had just a horrendous experience. I thought going to a reputable dealership meant we'd receive good past 2 decades and this is the first time we have had just a horrendous experience. I thought going to a reputable dealership meant we'd receive good treatment and fair dealings but unfortunately we have had anything but. We don't even have our plates in the mail yet and are donning the Nissan of Clovis license plate frame - I'm about to write "ask me why NOT to buy a car here" with an arrow on it while driving around town. We purchased a used 2018 Honda Pilot the evening of 1/8/23. We were assured it had been given a thorough inspection and everything was in great working order. We were dismayed a bit at the fact that we were told $3k of upgrades were already installed making the price $3k higher than was advertised online. It felt quite deceptive but finally in working with sales manager Caden M. we agreed to keep just 1 of the upgrades and paid $1k more than the listed price because we really liked the car. Here's what's happened since we signed the papers: 1. We were only told upon leaving the dealership that there was 1 key fob. A second key fob is $400 and we were not informed in negotiations that there was a key fob missing. 2. We found paint splatter all over the front of the vehicle when we saw it the next day in the daylight. We had to hire a detailer to come get it off and purchase new bumper grills and pillar covers to rectify this, all of which cost us $400 and the side mirrors have permanent damage. 3. Less than 2 months after owning the vehicle it started squealing uncontrollably. Upon taking it in we were informed that all four rotors are warped, all 4 brake pads need replacing and the brake fluid needed to be exchanged for a total of $939.85. In contacting Nissan we have been told the vehicle passed their inspection on these points but that is clearly not the case and they have been unwilling to work with us in any way here. I'm so disappointed and dismayed by this dealership and experience. We were so excited about our new to us vehicle and now on top of paying $1k more than the listed price we are out of pocket an additional $1,800 already and who knows what else lies in wait for us. To say we are utterly devastated here is not an exaggeration. We have spoken to the dealership several times and they have been unwilling in any way to make any of this right and their general sentiment is "buyer beware", so I am here to at least warn another buyer off of making the same mistake. Sold me a 2013 Hyundai Accent while I was homeless with kids promising me this was a quality vehicle and additionally a warranty. They insinuated I may have done something and stated after they test vehicles it's as is and your problem. I gave them my 2018 Nissan and ended up with a 2013 pile full of leaks in the windshield and doors. They're all about profit, not safety or doing what's right. It's nauseating how they take advantage of people. I was not the only one in with a purchase from them that had issues. Read the reviews. Wish I had, but I was homeless with kids and needed a vehicle. There are literally tons of reviews, not good. Please beware, I strongly recommend you go anywhere but here. Shame on you, Nissan, and Cruz Moreno. By the way he told me yesterday he didn't remember me because he sells so many cars he doesn't remember anyone. Absolutely atrocious. The update is as of 01/27/2023 they replaced my windshield but fought it down to the wire. Luke Fisher is the only staff member who actually stepped up to the plate and got the job done in a professional and pleasant manner. He has great communication skills and follows through.
