Salesman was AWESOME and honest and I appreciate and respect that! I didn’t appreciate the sales manager telling me ‘I’m throwing GAP insurance at NO cost to you’ and the ‘bank requires it’ ya, thats a respect that! I didn’t appreciate the sales manager telling me ‘I’m throwing GAP insurance at NO cost to you’ and the ‘bank requires it’ ya, thats a lie, it’s an additional $900. To my loan. I talked with the lender they don’t require it, not Oregon law, not required by my insurance company and it’s not a determining factor on loan approval. I didn’t appreciate the extended 3year/36,000 mile warranty being added without first discussing it with me. The cost of GAP and extended warranty added roughly an additional $4500. To my loan. Yes, I called it out when I saw all the numbers when signing the documents. I haven’t been contacted about a time to have the touch up done on the paint as promised (I bought the car June 23rd) I don’t have a copy of my signed contract (I understand the barrier with the CDK) that I am supposed to have as outlined in ORS 83.540 (delivery of copy of contract to buyer) or documents showing what all is covered under the extended warranty. Telling customers I’m throwing this in for you at no additional cost or sliding numbers in for things (car warranty, life time oil etc) to the documents hoping the buyer doesn’t catch it is 1000% dishonesty, stealing and taking advantage of your customers! Yes, I understand my credit is less than perfect, but you shouldn’t hammer on the customer and make comments well your credit score is XXX, try to take advantage, assume or think that they won’t catch onto the lies. I was looking for a particular kind of vehicle and he went above and beyond looking for it and took the time to walk the lot with to his dealership!
