Great experience I drove 1 hour and 45 min to Yuba City to purchase my truck. It is a long way to go to buy a truck but was well worth it. TJ was my salesman. Fraudulent company I recently purchased a 2017 Ram 1500 on July 29th. At the time I felt that they had done good by me we signed contracts and I drove home my new work t I recently purchased a 2017 Ram 1500 on July 29th. At the time I felt that they had done good by me we signed contracts and I drove home my new work truck. On Friday August 25th I revived a phone call from sales manager Stated that I had to either get a cosighner or put down a substantial amount of money in order to get the financing,or return the truck immediately. My wife called him back shortly there after and was told a completely different story. She was told that their was absolutely nothing we could do to get the truck and that we were required to return the truck. At the time we were on a family vacation so I informed them that I would return the truck on Monday. When were arrived they were in a frenzy trying to get us to sigh the contract cancellation paperwork. And would not give us any valid reason why they could not get the financing. But as soon as we signed the paper work the finance manager told my wife that they could get us into that truck if we were willing to make much higher payments put down 3000 to 4000 and shorten the term of the loan. All of which were things we asked if the would be willing to try before returning the truck. We later contacted a lawyer and found out that they had passed the 10 day finance period and that John l Sullivan was by law supposed to carry the loan themselves. So they pushed us into returning the truck so that they would not have to carry the loan. I will never work with this company again and I strongly suggest any one who does to be. Carful when dealing with them! More

JOHN l SULLIVAN ROSEVILLE SUCKS My husband and I went to purchase a truck that we saw on the internet. We showed the salesman the ad. For 5 1/2 hours we were shown every truck but th My husband and I went to purchase a truck that we saw on the internet. We showed the salesman the ad. For 5 1/2 hours we were shown every truck but that one. The truck we had the ad on was a Colorado for $23750.00. But they wanted to sell us and showed us everything over $35k They said the couldn't find the truck. The ad showed the vin #. When they entered that vin # a totally different car showed up. We were lied to over and over again. I will never buy a vehicle from them ever and I will not ever recommend John L Sullivan to anyone. We bought from our truck from Folsom Lake Chevy More

We were shopping for a Certified Pre Owned Jeep and figured we should first try and support local by going to John L Sullivan. We got our loan preapproved through our credit union and went shopping. Due to our schedule my wife had to go by herself to look at a vehicle we had seen online for sale at $16,977. She left with them offering $18,000 out the door. We went back a few days later and suddenly the price was now $18,880 with out tax or fees included. When I questioned the rise in price he quickly said this was the blue book value and the $18,000 offer was only good that one time. When we got up to leave I told him I was well aware of the real blue book value and there was no way I was paying his asking price for a vehicle that had been on their lot for 6 months so far. As we walked out he told us to "leave and don't come back". I guess the Internet price is just a scam to get you in the door. Needless to say we spent our money else where and had great customer service. I will tell everyone I know about this poor service and be sure they know not to buy from a place like this. I will however direct them to the other local dealership that we ended up buying from. More
