Background: Check engine light on 2011 Durango Crew comes on randomly; lift gate hydraulics out; customer service. Pretty much since I purchased my wife this new Durango the check engine light has been c on randomly; lift gate hydraulics out; customer service. Pretty much since I purchased my wife this new Durango the check engine light has been coming on and off very randomly. I have taken it in to the service dept to try and get a diagnosis on why the light comes on. Service guy says, "well there are no codes so I can't do anything about it, just wait till the light turns off on its own." This is absolutely NOT the answer I wanted. A few weeks later my wife is loading groceries in the back and the lift gate slams suddenly on her!! Oh boy I was pissed!! I take the vehicle in and I get told, "well it's gonna be at least 2 weeks before we can look at it." Again, not the answer I was looking for. So this morning my wife is getting herself and my kids ready for school, she goes to start the vehicle and nothing. The Durango will not start. I get off shift (firefighter) and am able to start the vehicle. I take the Durango to the service and let them know what happened and I get told the same, " sorry, it's gonna be at least 2 weeks before we can look at it." By this time I had it with the run around. I ask to speak with a supervisor and I get pointed in the direction of a Service Manager, I walk into the office and there is a man behind a desk, and another sitting at the only other chair in the office. After shaking their hands and introducing myself I go on to explain my frustrations to them. While I am telling them the problems with the vehicle, NOT ONCE did I get offered a seat. That right there is horrible customer service if you ask me. Needless to say I am very unhappy with all that has gone on. This is probably and most likely the absolute last time I buys vehicle from this lot and maybe even a Dodge all together. First impressions last and this one takes the cake as the worst EVER!!! More

This is my fifth vehicle purchase from this dealership. The staff has managed to provide the type of vehicle with the specific features I requested at each purchase. Sean Connolly and Russell House have been there at all of my purchases and have always been very accommodating. Josh Barrios sold me my last Jeep, did a great job then and today as finance manager finished the deal efficiently and made the paperwork process less cumbersome. The salesman, Kevin Martin did a super job of getting the type of vehicles I was looking for, up for my review. Very courteous, pleasant to deal with and knowledgable. Sean, Russell and Kevin kept me apprised of the processes at all times. Wayne, Sean, Russell and Kevin congratulated me on my purchase. The whole process from review to paperwork took only a few hours, with some follow up items to be completed next week. I would be remiss if I didn't mention that in the eight years I have been coming to this dealership, the maintenance staff and crew has been exemplary. All in all, I always depart the dealership completely satisfied. For the reasons listed above, I have rated this experience as "great". More
After looking at about 10 dealerships and either not seeing the car that I had to have or being told by salesmen that they couldn't get the color or model I wanted, I stopped on a friend's recommendatio seeing the car that I had to have or being told by salesmen that they couldn't get the color or model I wanted, I stopped on a friend's recommendation to see the Jeep Grand Cherokee at Lithia of Corpus Christi. My experience there began with the receptionist who was exceptionally friendly. Next I met the salesman, Albert Chavez, who was more interested in what I wanted to buy rather than what he wanted to sell me. I told him what my favorite cars were so far, so he knew my approximate price range. He then asked me what color I wanted. Now there's a man that knows how to sell a car to a woman, unlike the salesman at another dealership who proceeded to open the hood and point out the blah, blah, blah, blah. He pulled a cashmere-colored, light interior, 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo under the shade for me to take a look at. Another plus in the midday Corpus Christi heat and humidity. He began by showing me features that mattered to me, the keyless entry, the remote start to cool the car down, the beautiful interior, the space in back for my dogs. He then had me test drive the car and even though he knew my time was limited he wanted me to try it on the freeway to see how good it felt on the road at higher speeds. I wanted to bring my husband to Lithia that evening to see the Jeep but Albert said he would not be available as his son was playing a double header baseball game and he wanted to be there. Not only was he a very personable salesman, making his son's baseball game was more important than making his commission. Instead, he suggested I take the car overnight, show my husband, drive it around and bring it in the next day. By that time he must have known that I loved the vehicle. Obviously, I purchased the 2014 Grand Cherokee Laredo the next day. My husband and I sat down with Albert to work out the details and trade in my car. We arranged a day to bring the new car in for detailing, he filled the tank with gas and we then headed over to their financing department where he introduced us to Josh Barrios who went through all the paperwork with us, was entertaining and made it a very pleasant experience! A few days later, Rory Ashurst in the service department took care of the detailing and got my new vehicle back to me in the time he told me. We bought our first Dodge Ram Quad-cab truck in 2011 and have been very pleased. We got lifetime oil changes with the purchase and that has saved us a lot of time and money. We were received with courtesy by everyone to whom we talked. All the paperwork was handled expeditiously and everything was explained to our total satisfaction.
