I halve been with this Volvo Service for over 19 years and have never been disappointed. I continued with this dealership after it moved to its present location a few years ago. All the Volvo personnel are professional and helpful, including the drivers for Valet Service (Pedro, Johnny and one other, whose name I don't have), an option I especially appreciate during this pandemic. If my car broke down in the Lindsay Volvo Dealership, I would pay to have it towed somewhere else. I went in for my 5th service on my XC60. The staff was not knowledgeable on US spec Volvo’s coming fro would pay to have it towed somewhere else. I went in for my 5th service on my XC60. The staff was not knowledgeable on US spec Volvo’s coming from overseas for military members. They told me that none of the maintenance from overseas locations could be viewed. I then explained that the dealer in Germany said it is possible, but that Lindsay would need to transfer the records over. After a debate, the guy at the counter finally changed his position and put in a tech support case to have the records transferred. Then during the inspection, it was noted that I needed brake work. The total price for brakes and rotors was quoted at $1680 on top of the $450 5th Service. I tried to explain that the rotors were already replaced once through warranty due to wobble and I asked how long parts replaced by dealers are warranted for? The customer service representative completely dismissed my question 3 different times and talked to me about driving habits. On the 3rd dismissal, he ended the discussion with, “show me the receipt and then we will talk”. Who wants to hand over their hard earned money to someone as unprofessional as that? Overall I left very disappointed with this dealer. When stationed in Germany, I had service performed at 2 different Volvo Dealerships. Both were always professional and very knowledgeable. 2019 XC90 refused to start and had to be towed to dealership. The problem was a low side fuel pressure sensor. Once part arrived my vehicle was fixed and ready to go. This is my second purchase with the Lindsay Auto brand. I purchased from Lindsay Lexus in 2013. For this purchase, my husband wanted a Volvo so I called my former salesperson at Lexus to send me to someone a purchased from Lindsay Lexus in 2013. For this purchase, my husband wanted a Volvo so I called my former salesperson at Lexus to send me to someone at Volvo and he set me up with another excellent sales team. Dave the Sales Manager introduced us to Ted Glover. Ted may have given me and my husband the most detailed introduction to any car that I've ever purchased. As a former Marine, he was thorough, detailed, professional and treated us like family. Furthermore, when I saw several ants crawling around the base of the car, Ted immediately had the service department bomb the car to exterminate the ant problem. We worked with Bill of Lindsay Cadillac for the finance agreement and he was a pleasure as well. Finally, we purchased Smart Shield and had to return to the dealership for application. When the schedule showed no availability for another week, Justin made availability to see us within 48 hours. The whole team at Lindsay Volvo met every expectation of a wonderful sales experience. We will seek Lindsay first the next time we're car shopping. More
