Doing research and making calls to different dealerships can really demotivate someone on working with used car salesmen in general. Every time I would make a call I seemed to get in touch with pushy, condescending, and arrogant people that would try to get control over the situation by dictating the terms of the deal. Lindsay VW is nothing like that. Mr. Htoon politely followed up with me on more than one occasion to make sure that we were clear on what would happen if and when I came to the dealership. There was no pressure, no negative tone in his voice, I can't express how nice it is to deal with someone as knowledgeable, professional, and easy going as Clyde. I let him know that I had to get my finances organized and I would be in as soon as possible. Upon arriving I was greeted by the receptionist and had a chance to look around their showroom. Just being there gave me a great feeling of comfort, and as Clyde came out I knew I had made a good decision. I couldn't have asked for a more straightforward polite gentleman to deal with, which motivated me even more on doing business with him. We spoke about exactly what needed to happen with my trade and that we would be able to work the numbers until we came upon a mutual agreement that was good for both of us. He showed me the car in question and as I was out for a test drive, they appraised my car. This was the one aspect of the situation that I was really worried about. Having dealt with so many people that were telling me that I was wrong in asking for what I was, and after driving a car as amazing as a VW GTI, I was really worried he was going to come back to me and tell me the whole thing was going to be more expensive than I had planned. NOPE. Clyde stood by his word, and they honored the price of my trade in that we had discussed. The mere fact that I had finally come into contact with an honest salesman/dealer was all I needed to be convinced that I was in the right spot. I immediately wanted to give him the commission from my sale. After going through with my first test drive, I asked Clyde if there were any new models available. He mentioned that they had just received a new one, but they hadn't had a chance to run it through their shop, after making sure it was alright they sold it to me anyway for much less than I expected. Their in house manager, Blake (ROLL TIDE), was nice enough to let me know that they had to run it through their shop and run checks on things that the previous owner had mentioned before they could let it off the lot, which I was happy to wait for. I walked away with a great car, and the deal was well within my pricing window. These guys are the real deal, I had an amazing experience here, and I am recommending them to everyone I talk to that might be looking for a new car. I worked with Nihad "Nick" Spahic for about three days on the phone about a 2007 BMW 525ix sedan that was advertised on their Website before I came into the dealership and actually purchased th three days on the phone about a 2007 BMW 525ix sedan that was advertised on their Website before I came into the dealership and actually purchased the vehicle. Nick was very easy to work with, a professional salesperson, and a good fellow to boot! The only complaint I have about the whole process in purchasing this very fine automobile was that they could not produce any documents saying that it was BMW certified pre-owned (CPO) although the CARFAX report shows that it became a "CPO" automobile at roughly 46,000 miles in either Mass or Rhode Island. Could have been Conn as well. Several people at the dealership, including the finance person, Dan Kuykendall, said that it was a BMW CPO car but they couldn't prove it. This has me disturbed because now I have chase and badger BMWas to whether or not the car is still CPO and has the remainder of the $50,000 mile/2-year bumper-to-bumper warranty (after expiration of regular BMW 4-year/50.000 mile warranty). If my research reveals that it is "NOT" a BMW "CPO" car, then Lindsay VW did not tell me truth. More

Lindsay Volkswagen had the exact model that I was looking for on lot, a BEAUTIFUL BLACK Jetta TDI Wagon at a GREAT price. Mr. Boeker was most pleasant to work w/ and extremely knowledgable of the brand, as his appreciation for it was most evident. It was nice to have a salesman who understood the quality of the brand, and if I remember correctly he was German as well. VW worked with me on financing, which Mr. Boeker saw through to the end.
