This was an amazing experience. Despite the distance, I live just outside DC, it is worth the drive to check out Lindsay VW of Dulles. I highly recommend seeing Nihad in the used car sales department because he was exceptionally patient with a very nervous and wary buyer. He answered all my questions, sometimes multiple times, and never wavered from his polite, helpful demeanor. Craig, in the business department, was also wonderful. Just another example of patience and politeness. I am so pleased with my "new" VW, from the price (which was very reasonable) to full tank of gas I received before I drove away. Lindsay VW of Dulles made a typically stressful experience positive and greatly increased my satisfaction with my "new" Rabbit. Just purchased a 2012 CC R Type and was extremely satisfied with the overall experience. I initially met the Sales GM Butch Otey who was very helpful and offered to assist with any questions I may have had. Throughtout the day I worked with Harry Vannie who given his demeanor and style, puts you immediately at ease. During my visit I drove 4 cars and spent nearly 8 hours at the dealer. Harrie knows the product he is representing ad did a thorough job of helping me understand the pros and cons to each model I considered. Liking a few of the models very much I requested that pricing be broken down for 3 cars so I could view side by side what I'd be commiting to. Harry was very straightforward and took an honest approach with me which is EXACTLY what I wanted and seldom times come to expect having worked with other sales persons from other dealers. Additionally, I wasn't pressured to make desicions and I felt that Harry had my best intentions in mind the entire day. When I did make my decision Harry and Finance Manager Craig Manes went to work on the documentation. Craig was easy to work with and I appreciated the fact that both he and Harry stuck around nearly 3 hours after closing time to make the deal happen. Without question I would recommend Lindsay Volkswagen to anyone considering a new or used VW. More

In my past experience with car dealerships, I've always been pressured to buy a vehicle by the salesmen. I have a history of buying Volkswagens. One sales team member stepped away after I spoke them and never returned. Lindsay Volkswagen was a new and welcoming experience to me. The are friendly and courteous to their customers and have a genuine interest in putting the customer's first and not trying to make a sales quota. Working with the Lindsay sales team member Trent Norris was a joy. The process was easy and relaxing. I know I'll be purchasing my next vehicle at Lindsay and continuing to work with Trent to make that purchase. More

After 2 months of searching for our TDI Jetta Sportwagen and being disappointed by several dealerships and salesmen, we found Lindsay's to provide the customer service we should all expect from dealerships. and being disappointed by several dealerships and salesmen, we found Lindsay's to provide the customer service we should all expect from dealerships. The competitive prices inspired us to travel over 900 miles round trip and the courtesy and respect shown us when we got there induced us to drive home in our new car. Tom was congenial, had a ready smile without being smarmy and a sense of humor. He was informed and his information didn't contradict our research. He knew the car's ins and outs better than we did, which in our experience wasn't a guarantee when talking to a salesman. Tom and Craig (their finance man) answered our concerns and questions with patience, without talking around the issues. They were factual and we did not feel we had to weed through the bull and propaganda to get to the real issue. It was my first time buying a brand new car and I wanted to make an informed decision and not be be railroaded into a situation I regretted. So when we were sitting down to hammer out the final details regarding the extended warranty and the payment per month, they worked with us and our budget with out talking over us and pushing their agenda. After the papers were signed we found out that they had enlisted extra help to detail the car to get us on the road quicker since we wanted to be back home that evening. Tom then took the time to set our bluetooth and Sirius radio. We didn't feel that once the deal was done and the car was ours that we were being rushed out. Tom assured us we could call him anytime we had questions. The next day we got a phone call from Tom making sure we made it home and to see how things were going with the car. We then got an email from him with the Sirius channel changes and other sites he had promised to send us. What Tom said he would do, he did. It shouldn't be such a suprise but after dealing with all the salesmen that we have, it was a pleasant suprise to be treated like people and not a means to an end. We would definitely make the 900 mile trip to purchase another car from them. It was well worth it. More
