Initially I went to this dealership only to test drive the new 2012 VW Tiguan, but because of all the reasons above I left with one from them the same day. Lisan is a wonderful salesman, great customer service skills. He was the only salesman out of about 10 (other dealerships) who took us out in the Tiguan to demonstrate the stopping distance, turn radius, etc. He was (and still is) very professional with regards to the company (Volkswagen) he represents. We have been taken care of for service with minimal wait times, all expectations have been greatly surpassed. :) More

Been coming here for the past 3 years and this place was always great. I got my car when it just came out and back in 2007 VW didn't do free scheduled maintenance so I bought their service for 4 years. Wish always great. Wish I didn't because no one told me that it works only in the dealership where you buy the VW. I though this was going to be a hassle but turns out this dealership is the best one in the DC area and I'm happy I've been "attached" to them. The place is very comfortable and welcoming, there's free WIFI, coffee, TV, magazines, rental car service. It's brand new comparing to other dealers. Looks very european and clean. Robbie is the guy I always go to and he remembers me every time I come for scheduled oil change etc. I always get an email the day after my visit so if something goes wrong I always have an opportunity to let VW guys at the top know about it. Never had to do that though. Overall I think this place paints a very positive VW reputation. I understand that dealerships are in general little hard to "love," but this place is very close to that. I just bought a new Jetta wagon TDI from Lindsay VW. The sales man was Harry Vannie. I'm 50 years old and I have bought many new cars and I'm an avid reader of Car and Driver. This experience was by far, the best I've ever had with a dealership. Not only did they give me a fair price on my trade-in car but discounted the new car without me asking. Who does that? I was looking around for the cameras thinking I was being punked. I had to talk to the sales manager, Chris Alvarez, to tell him about my experience. He proceeded to tell me about how they don't pay the sales team solely amount of profit they make on the deal but base it on other factors as well, like customer satisfaction. This process is great, Harry is great,and I would buy a new car from this dealership in a heartbeat. More

My daughter was in the market for a new Jetta. She was moving into the area and had to do all of the car search over the phone. She had several less than helpful interactions with other local dealers and was pleasantly surprised at how professional and courteously Lisan and all of Lindsay VW treated her. She explained her parameters and what she had been quoted from the other dealers. This was her first car and the sales experience and after the sale support was very important. Lisan was great to deal with. He was extremely professional, gave her prompt follow up and kept all his commitments. Because we were coming from out of town he held the car for several days. Once we arrived at the dealership, the car was ready, the leasing deal was exactly as described (actually better since she qualified for the College Lease program). They reworked the finance deal to include the the wheel and dent coverage and still keep the price within her budget. The entire staff was great too. They explained all the paperwork to her, explained how the scheduled maintenance works, made sure she understood all the features of her new car and who to contact at the dealership if she had any problems. We were very pleased with her experience and would recommend Lisan and Lindsay VW to anyone. More

He went above and behind and even called his wife to make sure that we were getting a good deal on our car insurance. I am elated with my new car and with my experience at Lindsay as well. Ken, our fiance specialist waited for a half an hour while my fiance was on the phone with our new insurance company and Ken was patient, friendly and helpful the entire time. They have a great team and I highly recommend Alfonso and the Lindsay team. More

Lisan and the crew at Lindsay were most accomodating while I continued to mull over equipment options and price. Finnally my wife and I went in to purchase the sportwagen, which was a smooth and rewarding experience.I'm thankful that Lisan was so patient with me as we are quite pleased with the culmination of our months long endeavor of shopping. PS: I don't miss not visiting the gas station nearly as often. More
