Originally going in for repair work on my Jetta, I was greeted and well taken care of. I decided to trade in my Jetta for a newer VW model. Julia, who helped out tremendously in service, had me contact greeted and well taken care of. I decided to trade in my Jetta for a newer VW model. Julia, who helped out tremendously in service, had me contact Marc Weinstein. Marc was very friendly, professional, and I didn't feel as though I was being rushed. He took his time with me to allow me to ask questions about the vehicle, test drive and to ensure I got exactly what I wanted. After telling him my wife and I were expecting a child, he showed me the safety features and what all I could do with the vehicle to accommodate an infant in the car. He showed me every little gadget/knob to where I could move the seats and make necessary adjustments. He was VERY knowledegable about the vehicle and I felt satisfied for purchasing what I got. As far as the price, I was very happy with the deal I got. They took care of my old Jetta and basically gave me 'clean slate' with the new car. I was afraid I might have two car payments but they were able to work with me to where I'm only paying for the new car. The financing dept got me a great deal with the car payments. Marc made my experience there so well, I will be bringing in my vehicle for inspections, vehicle checks, and rely on Lindsay VW for any work needed. While this started off ify with a sales person who didn’t listen to what we were asking for but it quickly changed when the GM (Jerry) switched us to Harry Vannie. From there on it was smooth sailing. As we were located 2 hours from the dealership he helped us do some up front work to ensure it would be worth our drive to get the car we wanted (Sadly Shenandoah Valley VW dealerships do not stock the Eos). While buying a car is never easy Harry made it enjoyable. And his customer service is impeccable, right down to the little details. Three examples: 1) When talking about getting the last few things from our old car, like the garage opener, I made mentioned I store it in the driver side door pocket. When we went out to the new car, it was in my driver side pocket. 2) As we wrapped up everything and heading out to the new car, Harry had two drinks on his desk, carbon copies of what my husband and I grabbed earlier, for the road. 3) We had a coupon for a free gift card for $25 for test driving. Something went wrong with the code and they couldn’t redeem it so they gave me an extra $25 towards my down payments (Sorry, I forgot your name manager guy). It’s those little things that show they listen and want to be customer oriented. There were no hard sales on warranties and extras, just listing them out and going over the benefits and costs (Thanks Sarah and Harry for getting us the options we wanted). And the car was detailed when we showed up to test drive so we didn't have that extra wait. Harry helped me synch my phone, the top was down, it was 65 F and we we drove off in the new car (previous car was an Eos as well, but the 2013 is SO much better). The car we purchased was a 2009 TDI Jetta that was almost in new car condition. It was thoroughly serviced with all new filters and fluids, new tires, new floor and trunk mats, a 2 year 24 month bumper to bu in new car condition. But most importantly, our sales rep, Clyde Htoon had everything ready for us when we arrived including coffee! He made the experience more than memorable. My wife and I cannot stop talking about how good he was to us. He is a very knowledgeable about VWs, all of the models and we had the best time talking about the older VWs we owned in the past. He even scheduled our complimentary 3 month free service check. Also, I want to thank Peter, the service manager, for taking time to review some of the concerns I had about diesels in general, as now, my family of four each drives a VW, 3 of them are TDIs.
