Have had nothing but horrible experiences with car dealers. VW was completely different. Each member of the VW sales team was fabulous. Was in the market for a new car as the vehicle it was replacing is over 13 years old. Joe Borak did a great job of answering all of my questions concerning the Passat Diesel cars. Several visits, test drives, and many questions I finally took delivery of a Platinum Gray Passat TDI SEL with a Black leather interior that had to be ordered from the factory as there were none in the area that could be located. Delivery was seamless and all questions have been addressed so far. 2 weeks into it and already have 1600 miles and the car did flawlessly on the interstate. I am averaging over 40 mpg and its just getting broken in. I cant wait to see how it continues to get better mileage as time goes on. I should have done this along time ago! More

I bought a VW cc 2.0 Lux 2 weeks ago from VW Lindsay, located in Sterling, VA. I never thought buying a car experience could be this satisfying. I first went to Fairfax VW dealer and was thinking I shou located in Sterling, VA. I never thought buying a car experience could be this satisfying. I first went to Fairfax VW dealer and was thinking I shouldn't buy VW after all, but starting over with internet guides by Marc was different. He wasn't just trying to sell a car, but actually made me feel that he was enjoying to see a customer being happy. The sales from this dealer is not based on commissions that every members in the dealer showed a great teamwork which benefited customers in a different way. Also, this dealer wasn't playing with numbers, which Fairfax did to me at first. When I was buying the car from Lindsay, everything was so clear, none of any hidden costs you usually see at the end of signing the contract, weren't there. Each members including salesman and finance director were very explanatory of what to expect and answered to all of my questions you can have when you buy a car, clearly and in details. Marc in particular, he knew what he was doing professionally that he was very systemic of each steps explaining everything even before I asked any questions and questions I wouldn't even think about. After signing, getting key, Marc, my salesman did guide thoroughly about every single buttons with its functions of the car I bought, the service you don't get all the time when you buy a car. It was a different experience I didn't expect from a dealer. They worked beyond their job description, making a customer happy, not acting as they are happy, but actually enjoying seeing me happy with my new key, even taking pictures of me and sending it to me. Well, you signed, got the key, they also recommended to come back to the dealer after two weeks to check if my car has no problem. I should say, their after service is also wonderful as first you stepped into the dealer. I would personally take my friend whose about to buy a car to Marc/James and Larry. More

With great reviews on local forums it was the vehicle that will give me the length of service I am looking for. I shopped alot of dealerships and ended back at Lindsay Volkswagen, Dulles, VA, which is closest to my home. Marc, was professional, but moreover, he was respectfull of my time. I was in and out of the showroom driving my new Touareg in 2-1/2hours. My overall experience, with the follow up phone calls, has been delightful. I would first of all recommend the Touareg to everyone in the market for a luxury SUV with its great gas mileage from a diesel engine, but more over for Marc and Lindsay Volkswagen for the friendly, professional, non-pressured purchase experience.
