I recently had a great experience purchasing a pre-owned Mercedes from Lindsay VW of Dulles. Having worked in the automotive industry for nearly 30 years, I have experienced many dealers and they are not al Mercedes from Lindsay VW of Dulles. I was connected to them from a search I made on cars.com that lead to a number of friendly conversations with my salesman Robert Derby. Bob was great to work with providing answers to all my questions and never pressured me or my wife as to the timing of our purchase. Everything flowed smoothly and my wife is extremely pleased with her purchase. More
Dealers are asking huge premiums—$10,000 to $20,000 on these cars. You can’t order one—you just have to wait until cars are allocated & delivered to dealers—and then try to get one. I don’t remember how I found John Mule at Lindsay Volkswagen, but he told me Lindsay is the largest VW dealer in the U.S., and they do not charge a premium. He took my name and a $500 deposit & put me on a list. It took 16 months for me to rise to the top of the list, but I got my car, & Lindsay was as good as John’s word. In the interim, John was always prompt to respond to my inquiries, and the rest of the team was equally polite, honest & efficient. If you are in traveling distance of the metro DC area, I highly recommend them & John in particular. You won’t be disappointed. More

My recent new vehicle purchase experience at Lindsay VW Dulles was overall a positive experience. The sales team (Israel Moreno and Marc Weinstein), with whom I communicated primarily via phone and email, Dulles was overall a positive experience. The sales team (Israel Moreno and Marc Weinstein), with whom I communicated primarily via phone and email, provided a phenomenal virtual sales service. Israel and Marc diligently helped me find the exact vehicle I was looking for and allowed me to secure it with a deposit, making the buying process smooth and convenient. My experience with the finance department was a little bit stressful due to policies but it wasn’t terrible. It definitely raised some eyebrows. Henry Nguyen was an awesome finance manager who was not pushy whatsoever and did not pressure me into additional warranties. The part that raised some eyebrows was that the dealership have a policy of holding vehicles for a full 4 business days when dealing with preapproved bank checks, which felt unusual and inconvenient, especially compared to my previous experiences with other dealerships. Ultimately, I decided to go with the dealership's financing option, which made the process smoother to deal with. Despite the finance department's quirks, I would still recommend this dealership for anyone interested in GTIs due to their exceptional sales service and vehicle selection. Make sure to deal with Israel for sales and Henry for financing! More
