The sales part was excellent. The place is fantastic, largest, fanciest dealership I've ever seen. I don't like the service dept. Mark is friendly, but a smart - - -. Ashley is aloof, not personable. I had a bad experience with a flat tire there, I've never had anywhere before. I saw Jim Cavenaugh about this, the general manager, who called in the service manager. They solved my problem, but acted like, that's life with NO apology. I will go there to see Val at the Tiki Torch Cafe. He's a nice guy, eager to please. The repair people need to be rotated OUT. Very disappointing for me More
Island Lincoln provided a NEW 2001 Lincoln Mkz with an $1895.00 "add-on" sticker stating the car had paint treatment, interior treatment, Nitrogen filled tires, leather treatment, and undercoat. Thi $1895.00 "add-on" sticker stating the car had paint treatment, interior treatment, Nitrogen filled tires, leather treatment, and undercoat. This car was delivered with none of those items done to the car. Even if it had been done, a price of $1895.00 is highly questionable. The items were not applied to my new car. I met with Jim Cavenaugh (General Manager, Island Lincoln) who readily admitted the sticker is applied to all their new cars, eventhough the treatments may not have been applied. He offered no corrective action whatsoever. Ford Motor is actively attempting to revitalize the Lincoln brand. How can this revitalization occur when this kind of stuff is going on? It certainly spoiled my Lincoln experience! More
Island's amenities, service and friendly, helpful staff are superlative. Their waiting areas are very comfortable and inviting and they have a top notch little cafe and even a barbershop. We own two Lincolns, one bought new at Island and the other bought new elsewhere only because there were almost none left. Both cars have had all servicing done at Island during the past four years - the service reps Mark and Ashley and the department are outstanding. We have ZERO complaints about anything, period. We're not in the Bentley league of buyers so I can't compare with that sort of facility, but Island Lincoln is the highest overall quality car dealership with which I've ever had a relationship and I cannot recommend it highly enough. More
