The day before I brought my car in for service I called to confirm the hours of the service department and was told by an associate in the service department that they would be open until 9pm and that I wo to confirm the hours of the service department and was told by an associate in the service department that they would be open until 9pm and that I wouldn’t need an appointment for the simple oil change and recall I needed. When I showed up at 6pm after getting off of work on a Friday they were closed. As this was my first time ever being there I went into the reception area of the show room to figure out how and where I could drop my vehicle off so it could be worked on the next morning. When I entered into the show room one of the sales associates greeted us and asked how he could help and when I advised I just needed to know where and how I could drop my vehicle off as this was my first time being there his tone and demeanor immediately changed. I am assuming because he realized we were not there for a vehicle sale. He then proceeded to tell me multiple times that the service department was closed and I repeatedly expressed that I understood that but I was just trying to drop my car off and I didn’t know where I could do that and he then let out an annoyed sigh and just said follow me I’ll just show you. I was then brought to the cashier who was on her cell phone and raised her finger to tell me and the sales associate to wait while she finished her call. I then had to repeat myself to her only for her to then say that the service department was closed. So again I expressed that I just need to drop it off so it could be worked on in the morning. The cashier then took my keys and I filled out the drop off form and asked if I needed to move my car because it was in the front and she told me she would let the maintenance department know where it was and give them the keys. The next morning around noon I called to get an update on my vehicle and when I spoke to the service department they immediately told me they did not have my car they don’t have my keys and the only vehicle matching my description was already picked up. The service associate Then asked me are you sure you have the right dealership? I explained the situation from the night before and gave him my plate number and advised where my vehicle was parked. He then said that because it was left with the cashier he would need to wait until she got in to get the keys at 2 and when I asked when they closed he said 2 and didn’t seem to realize how that would be an issue. He finally said he would call me back in hopes that they could find my vehicle...that I had left with them... per their instructions... The associate then called me back within 20 minutes or so to say they found my vehicle but I left the keys in the wrong area and when I corrected him again that I left them with the cashier per hers and the sales associates instructions he then said oh I didn’t catch that part as if I hadn’t already said it multiple times. At the bare minimum I was able to pick up my vehicle with no incident. I work for a fleet management company dealing directly with courtesy deliveries at dealerships on a daily basis and this is by far one of the worst interactions and experiences I’ve had with a dealership. All of the associates I dealt with did not communicate with each other, did not listen, and we’re either rude or flighty. This was the first time that I’ve ever dealt with this dealership and it will be the last time. I would rather spend more of my time and money driving to another dealership then using this one again. If they can’t be trusted to complete a basic request of a LOF and a recall that needs a visual inspection why would I trust them with anything else. I am completely blown away at the lack of empathy and customer service that I received. More
Prices are too expensive whenever you need your car serviced. Need to offer more coupons and discounts for services needed for regular maintenance and other maintenance as your car gets older serviced.
