Great Experience! I am from out of state. My boyfriend asked if I could bring his car in for service. When I drove into the service aisle I was greeted with a smile I am from out of state. My boyfriend asked if I could bring his car in for service. When I drove into the service aisle I was greeted with a smile by a man named Dennis. I gave him the list of things to check and he also Asked me questions since I had drove the car there. Everything was just so thorough and seemingly thoughtful. I don't get that back in NY! In ending, after waiting a couple hours for the car, by my choice since the dealership had free internet - he pulled the car up, washed and shiny, warmed up! and the horrible noise was gone. He was so nice, helpful, polite and I just couldn't believe the great experience! More

I tried a few Buick GMC dealerships in the area and left each with the feeling of an untrusting experience. Then I stumbled upon Libertyville Chevrolet and who was there, but the service consultant who had always been at my service at the prior dealership! Dennis was and always is there to help me with all my service needs....I trust him! The pit in my stomach when entering a service aisle has completely subsided. When I need automobile advice and service, I trust Dennis knowing he will assure the immediate needs of my car are taken care of, and will advise of future service my car may need. Kudos for this dealership for picking up this stellar consultant! And thanks, Dennis, for giving me trust again! More

Brett Simonides Allstar Service Consult!!! Brett was informative over the phone, knowledgeable about my car and the recall that had been ordered for certain cars only(including mine), friendly Brett was informative over the phone, knowledgeable about my car and the recall that had been ordered for certain cars only(including mine), friendly and helpful in every way he could have been! He scheduled a same day service appointment for me immediately and made sure everything that was being done to my car was in my best interest and that I was comfortable with the services they had suggested for me. I was mailed a coupon but didn't have it with me but he still honored it!! Libertyville Chevrolet and Brett Simonides made my day!!! More

I declined the additional service at that time, but did return the next day to have the service completed. I will return to Libertyville Chevrolet if I ever need any additional service!! More
Taken advantage of I feel completely taken advantage of. My 2003 Saturn Ion wouldn't start so I had to get it towed to Libertyville Chevrolet. My service advisor was I feel completely taken advantage of. My 2003 Saturn Ion wouldn't start so I had to get it towed to Libertyville Chevrolet. My service advisor was Steve Baker. They ran a diagnostic and told me I needed a new battery and that the total (including the diagnostic fee) was $407. I knew this was high but I didn't have much of a choice because the car wouldn't start so I couldn't drive it to another lot for a better price. I told him to do the work so they cleaned and secured the terminals, replaced the battery, and this fixed the problem. I go to pay and the total was $449.56. $449.56 for a new battery. Libertyville Chevrolet, I hope you make a change. Instead of feeling happy that you fixed my car, you left me feeling humiliated that I chose you. More
Dennis was very helpful and answered many questions that my previous Chevrolet dealer failed to explain to me. Additionally, I was in a rush to get back to work and Dennis assured my that I would be on my way in plenty of time. When my car wash took a little longer than necessary, he came outside to check on me while I was waiting for my vehicle to be returned and made an extra effort to have the porter bring me my vehicle quickly. As any Saturn owner knows, it can be difficult to find a place to service your car. There aren't any places close to me, but I have found a dealer that knows my Saturn and was very accommodating even thoug place to service your car. There aren't any places close to me, but I have found a dealer that knows my Saturn and was very accommodating even though I have to travel quite a ways to get there. My Saturn VUE had a recall and I had the vehicle in a year ago to address the recall. GM recommends trying a "reset" first. That did not work and I had to bring the vehicle back in. Unbeknownst to me, there is a time limit on the recall even though the expiration isn't until 2014. Stu Silver went above and beyond, working with his manager and with GM to find a way to get my vehicle recall fixed with a replacement part at no charge. As a customer service rep myself, I truly appreciate when other businesses know the meaning of customer service! Thanks, Stu, for your help in the matter of my Saturn VUE recall issues! More
Today I brought my 2008 saturn Vue in for service. I was greeted by Stuart Silver whom I knew when he was with the Saturn Dealer here in Libertyville.
