I went into the dealer to have my air conditioning looked at because it was blowing warm air. My car’s warranty was through 3yr/ 36,000 miles and I was at 2 yr/ 37,000 miles. They would not allow it to be c at because it was blowing warm air. My car’s warranty was through 3yr/ 36,000 miles and I was at 2 yr/ 37,000 miles. They would not allow it to be covered under the warranty even though we purchased the car with 3,000 miles on it. The repair with Libertyville Chevrolet was quoted at $1700. They charged me $140 just to diagnose it and would only allow their coupons to be applied if the $1700 dollar repair was completed. I was very disappointed that no one was willing to listen to me and that I had to pay $140 to just have my car looked at. The sales manager tried to resolve the issue by offering to sell me another car. And to truly demonstrate how dishonest this dealership is, they wanted to charge me $1700 for this repair ....oddly enough, I called the Grayslake Flag Chevy dealership in the area and they stated they would only charge me $1000 for the SAME repair. I will never come back to this dealership again. More
