BUYER BEWARE!! I BOUGHT A 2013 CHEVY CRUISE LESS THAN 2 WEEKS AGO. THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND THE CAR BEGAN TO SPUTTER. I BOUGHT A 2 YEAR 24K MILE EXTENDED WARRANTY AT PURCHASE. I TOOK THE CAR BACK TO HAVE THEM TALE A LOOK AND THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME FOR THE INSPECTION AAAAAAND FOR ANY WORK THAT NEEDED TO BE DONE!!!!! WHAT??!!!! YES I UNDERSTAND THAT I BOUGHT A USED CAR ($12K I MIGHT ADD) AND YOU WON'T TAKE THE COURTESY TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM? NOT EVEN LOOK AT IT WITHOUT CHARGING ME?? No communication. I spoke on the phone with Cameron about coming in to see a car, made an appointment that same day because I was told that the vehicle is there, then d I spoke on the phone with Cameron about coming in to see a car, made an appointment that same day because I was told that the vehicle is there, then drove an hour to come see it only to be told that the car was sold after speaking on the phone with him 30 min before coming, on my way there, that the car is there and ready when I come. Spoke on the phone with him after the car was already sold and did not mention anything about it being sold. After telling the manager that I am open to more options, I was told not even a minute later that they have absolutely no other options without even giving him a price range. Very disappointed. More
Worst car buying experience of my life! BUYER BEWARE!!!! They have a vehicle listed on Autotrader and the price is $11,340. After driving over FOUR hours to buy the vehicle today, they told BUYER BEWARE!!!! They have a vehicle listed on Autotrader and the price is $11,340. After driving over FOUR hours to buy the vehicle today, they told me that there was a $2998 additional inspection/documentation charge and wanted me to pay $14,338!!! They knew that I was driving a long way to buy the vehicle and never mentioned the fee until I got there. The manager also told me that ALL the dealers are doing the same thing!! I sure hope not.... Why didn't I think to look at Yelp BEFORE I wasted $80 in gas and 10 hours of my holiday weekend. If you're thinking of buying a vehicle from Libertyville Chevrolet make sure to ask them about any "additional fees" before you make the trip, but my advice would be to: " Just STAY AWAY from Libertyville Chevrolet!!!" Misleading I went in because they advertised the car I wanted at $8,888 after test driving the car and deciding I would like to buy it we sat down to talk about I went in because they advertised the car I wanted at $8,888 after test driving the car and deciding I would like to buy it we sat down to talk about price. All of a sudden the car is $8,888 plus an additional $2,930 certification fee. What the heck is that???? So basically I went in to look at a car that I was lead to believe was $8,888 and then told it was $12,000. If they want to sell the car at $12,000 that is up to them but to advertise it at around $9,000 and then add on a random charge is not okay. It was frustrating to say the least. More

Unbelievable & Waste of Time I have been looking for a good used car to go to college with. We saw a few cars online priced at 10,000. We test drove 2 different cars. Whenever we had to ask a question or get a hold of Keith, he was always in the back and seemed too busy for us. Came time to talk numbers and we had to wait for him to finish someone else who was obviously spending more than us. We get to sit down. And he takes more time to go to the back. Comes back with the same scribbled sheet of paper as mentioned in another interview. He added on a 3,000 mandatory certification fee. It was not on the listing price or the price we had previously confirmed on the lot. Mind you, this "certification" did not seem to catch that the original tires were still on it and needed to be replaced as well as windshield wipes complexity worn off. We didn't want the certification, and he couldn't remove it. We asked what the total price out the door would be and he came back with 16,000!!!!! The car was listed online at 9,888. The tax rate would be 7% plus maybe 200$ in title/license fees. He claimed $3,00 of it was tax/title/license. When negotiating, he had a porter come and take the keys so "someone else" could come look at it. When we said that he was falsely advertising the price, he had the manger come over. The manager said the same thing and was unwilling to work with us. They were busy and seemed to have bigger and better things to do. He has been by far the worst person to work with. I wasted about 4 hours just to be absolutely humiliated by this guy. They have an attitude and are out to take advantage of everyone. They seem to be pretty good at it, otherwise they wouldn't be so comfortable doing to. I wish we made it into a bigger deal, I feel bad for all of the families there at the time who had no idea what they were getting in to. Crooks and scam artists who do their best at false advertisement. Please listen to these reviews, I kind of threw out the extreme bad ones but they are absolutely true! I am disgusted by this customer service, I have no idea how they keep their business like that. You would think they would want to make a college kid happy so they would come back for their next car. Way too much to ask of them! More

The pricing is the pricing and the fees are the fees yet were still always the best price ! I try to please everyone all the time yet I know that's impossible to do in any job especially one like this. I do have a big following and loyal customers and many keep coming back and know I'm more then fair. More
