When my car was brand new (300 miles on it), they accidently scraped the bumper while in their care, acknowledged it, and replaced the bumper at no cost to me. During the 10 days it took to get a new bumper and paint and install it, I was given a free loaner. More

Body Shop Is Terrible I brought my 2018 Subaru Crosstrek into the body shop. Jeff the body shop manager toke me that they are subaru certified. They will do the best work p I brought my 2018 Subaru Crosstrek into the body shop. Jeff the body shop manager toke me that they are subaru certified. They will do the best work possible. They are going to make the car look like new. The rear door on the car was smashed in from a accident. Estimate that Jeff wrote was for $4000. The insurance adjuster wrote one for 3100. Jeff accepted it with a issue. Standard body shop practice he told me. I asked him where the other $900 went. He told me different system use different estimates for hours. But he assured me my car would look perfect. Let's just say we said a lot of issues during the repair process. Finally Jeff calls me to tell me my car is all done. I went to pick it up and it took only 5 seconds to see runs in the paint, orange peel and other blemishes. Other blemishes being sanding scratches in other spraying the clear coat. He said we will wet sand the car. Calls me the next day to tell me it's done. I went to check it out again. But no thing was properly fixed. I had a great bunch of scratches that are still under the clear coat. I told him I'm not paying for the shady work. He said fine we will just keep the car. Next day I reach out to the general manager Nate. He talked about the paint issues. He agreed to look over the call. He called me back to tell me he sees the all the issues. But they are all prior damage so it's not there problem. When I tell him I'm not paying for the car till it's fixed. He said threatening me with storage cost. I decided to just pick up the car today. I took it to three other body shops. All three say that this is a quality job. DONT BE THE NEXT VICTIM! STAY AWAY FROM LIBERTYVILLE AUTO CITY! More
