They try Worst dealership hands down. Terrible staff that are rude and pushy. Service department is full of lazy idiots who know nothing about cars. They try to charge $160 to read a code which you can get done for free from Oriellys across the street! They won’t honor an extended warranty bought from them! Avoid this place at all costs. More
BEWARE: This dealer advertises cars on the internet and then adds on thousands to the advertised price when you go there to look at the car and purchase it. I suggest that you not waste your time. They are then adds on thousands to the advertised price when you go there to look at the car and purchase it. I suggest that you not waste your time. They are phonies and feel no shame when called-out on doing it. Kyle (sales) shrugs his shoulders when the deceptive practice was cited. Consumers can do one thing with a retailer like this - STOP going there and stop buying from them! More
This place cannot be trusted. Brought my leased Sorento in for service which was supposed to be complimentary. Paid for tire rotation because that was not part of the free service. When I returned for serv in for service which was supposed to be complimentary. Paid for tire rotation because that was not part of the free service. When I returned for service at 18k I needed new tires. Go figure! Brought it up to consumer affairs but they were no help. With that experience decided to go an independent mechanic for an oil change. He asked me if I ever had the oil changed. Another go figure! Don’t trust this dealership. More
Made an appointment to see a car they didn’t have when I arrived. They blamed the Liberty Auto Nation website listings even though they work with that company. arrived. They blamed the Liberty Auto Nation website listings even though they work with that company. More
Contacted the internet sales team to confirm the advertisement for vehicles. I first did email and then called to be sure there was a new vehicle that was wanted. When I arrived the manager said it advertisement for vehicles. I first did email and then called to be sure there was a new vehicle that was wanted. When I arrived the manager said it he vehicle was not new, had thousands of miles, and on by the way, could not sell me that vehicle because of the general manager. but they could sell me something else that I did not ask for. My score for this dealer is minus five. More
Worst experience with the sales manager. I went shopping without my fiancé and he told me “it was cool in today’s world I could shop for a car without a man”. This is 2021 and I couldn’t believe what I hear without my fiancé and he told me “it was cool in today’s world I could shop for a car without a man”. This is 2021 and I couldn’t believe what I heard. He lectured me on cutting out expenses on coffee to afford a few extra bucks a month on my car. If you want to buy a telluride, he’ll tell you it’s the hottest car on the market and try to charge you over $1000 per month. Do yourself a favor and visit Schaumburg Kia - they let me order exactly what I wanted for $600/month. I visited Liberty Kia in March and drove past this week (June) and the Tellurides they had then are still on the lot. These fools aren’t kidding anyone and they definitely aren’t selling those trucks! Figure it out and stop acting like women know nothing about cars. Will never buy another Kia from the Libertyville dealership again! More
We went in to Liberty Kia to test drive and purchase a new Kia Telluride. Long story short, don’t waste your time if you are going to buy a Telluride. Purchase from another Kia dealership. They will waste new Kia Telluride. Long story short, don’t waste your time if you are going to buy a Telluride. Purchase from another Kia dealership. They will waste your time. After asking what the price of 2 Tellurides were, they pencilled a deal that was $15k over list. The sales manager came over to give us his poor excuse for his price gauging. “Supply and demand”. So much for integrity and honesty. We will be purchasing elsewhere and we will be negotiating off the list price, not an inflated number like you’ll get at Liberty Kia. More
Classic bait and switch ... Today we went to test drive a Kia Telluride. The sticker price and price on the website is $50215. We liked the vehicle and were prepared to take it home. When we asked about a Kia Telluride. The sticker price and price on the website is $50215. We liked the vehicle and were prepared to take it home. When we asked about leasing vs financing vs paying cash, the salesman needed to “ask his manager”. He came back and explained that, due to high demand, this vehicle is selling for $65595 but he was willing to give us a “deal” and let us have it for $59500. When we advised him we would not pay a penny over MSRP he went and got his manager who explained he could sell it to somebody else today for that price. We told him to go for it. What a waste of time! More
I DO NOT recommend Liberty Kia !!!! Not only was the saleswoman rude and condescending, she got an attitude every time I questioned anything. She had to leave the room about 30 times to "get an answer saleswoman rude and condescending, she got an attitude every time I questioned anything. She had to leave the room about 30 times to "get an answer" to literally EVERYTHING I asked. Then most of the time, she didn't come back with an answer anyway. Their so called finance dept did nothing but try to rail me on financing and price, and I wasn't allowed to see any paperwork to take time to look over what the details were. They tried to lie about Kia's financing terms, as well as my interest rate. I ended up going elsewhere, got the SAME EXACT car, for far less price, a super low interest rate, and at a $60 PER MONTH LESS payment than what these people were trying to rail me with. The other dealership threw in a Kia rebate as well as the low interest rate terms (0.9%). The general manager of Liberty Kia definitely needs to re-train his staff in honesty and attitude on how to treat customers. This woman talked to us like we were unintelligent morons ... we obviously walked out. As we were walking out, we could hear her very loudly complaining about how we aren't going to do it now and how she wasted her time ... it echoed throughout the dealership it was so loud. Extremely unprofessional and dishonest dealership. I'll never go back and neither will my significant other ... who is a doctor btw ... who loves to buy cars ... bad move on your part. You should be careful how you treat people. More
