I bought new Hyundai elantra touring from this dealership in 2011. I have been very happy with this car until a couple of months ago when the car seemed to shake when driving at highway speeds. I brought the car in for service, and although they could feel the shake they could find nothing wrong with the car. This went on for a few months going back and forth to the dealership, until I felt like the tires might blow out when driving, so I took the car to a tire dealer And asked about new tires. I had just had the car at Hyundai a week before and asked them for tire prices too. At the tire dealer, he brought me over to my car and said they cannot let me leave with the current tires on my car, as they then showed me the tire was totally split open on the inside, exposing the steel belts... On both back tires! How did the dealer not see this?? He had no answer but did say this did not happen over night... The tires have been like this for awhile. I could have been killed if the tire shredded at highway speed. When I called Hyundai to tell them, the woman in the service department hung up on me, when I called back the manager offered me a free oil change. Really! I could have been killed... When it comes to auto service, I have to trust what you say you did, you did. In this case you obviously didn't. I have paper work that says you did, but tires that say you didn't. I have spent thousands of dollars on preventive maintenance at this dealership. And I cannot trust that the service was performed. A person is as good as there word, their words were lies.. Thank god I decided to have another mechanic look at this car before I had a serious accident I can NEVER trust them again. More

Carlos was one of the nicest sales agents I have ever worked with. Extremely honest, very laid back, no pressure, and very down-to-earth. He worked out some awesome numbers for me and it was very hard for me to turn down, but at the time, it just wasn't the right car for me. I would recommend Carlos if anyone were to stop by at Liberty Hyundai, I'm sure if whatever Hyundai is right for you, you would definitely want to buy it from him. More
We scheduled an appointment to test drive a certified pre-owned Sonata 2011 advertised at www.cars.com. Bob Zimmer left a good first impression as a polite and professional sales agent. We liked the car but the road noise was more pronounced than expected and we wanted to drive a few other cars before we make our mind. A week later we called Liberty Hyundai to make sure the car was still available and scheduled a second appointment with Bob Zimmer. We drove the car and decided to purchase it. About 15 minutes after signing a document indicating the conditions of the sale (price, taxes, and fees) Bob came back with a statement "I'm sorry, this car is sold." We left the dealership very disappointed not because we didn't buy this particular vehicle but because we felt cheated. Bob Zimmer should have known if the car was indeed sold and not waste 3 hours of our time for the round trip to the dealership, test drive, and waiting for him to consult with his colleagues after signing the initial paperwork. Even worse, the particular car we wanted to purchase is still advertised for sale (4 days after claimed sold) and I feel Liberty Hundai is using a trivial bait-and-switch trick - very unprofessional. Please, think twice before you decide to spend your valuable time with this car dealer. More
On a late Saturday afternoon Mike arranged for his associate to replace my failed battery during the Sandy storm outage when I was staying at a local hotel. I cant say enough about the service you guys provided me. The Hyundai support line however, leaves a lot to be desired. I stopped to get gas, then my car failed to start. I called the Hyundai Road Service line and was told a tow truck would be there in an hour. 90 minutes later, still no tow truck so I called them back. Said I would need to wait another hour. I called your dealership and talked to Maryann. She figured out the issue and told me how to get the car started. I was only 1000 feet from your location and she promised me if I got the car there, I would be on the road in 15 minutes. I was out in about 20 minutes. I cant thank her and your team enough. Everything was above what I could have expected. Please send a special thanks to Maryann and your Technician. Doug and Cathy More
The entire experience at this dealership has been exemplary. The service department just completed my first service. They were able to accomadate my schedule. I was in and out in 30 minutes. They explained what needed to be done on this visit as well as what could be expected on the next service. I've never had a dealership do that. Buying a car can sometimes be a bit intimidating. Went to Liberty Hyundai because Paramus Hyundai was unable to take care of my problem with my Radio which was under Warrentee. Maryann without an appointment was able to take care of me and service my unable to take care of my problem with my Radio which was under Warrentee. Maryann without an appointment was able to take care of me and service my Radio at no charge to myself. Receive follow-up calls to see if I was satisfied with my service. Told me that they were able to fixed the problem, but ordered a replacement radio because they didn't know if the fix were be permanent. Maryann was extremely helpfull and knowledge of my problem... Would recommend her and Liberty Hyundai to everyone. More

I used Bank of America's on-line car search service while shopping for my new Hyundai Tucson. I visited Liberty Hyundai and was assisted by Eddie Saint-Preux, Internet Sales Manager for the dealership. He wa shopping for my new Hyundai Tucson. I visited Liberty Hyundai and was assisted by Eddie Saint-Preux, Internet Sales Manager for the dealership. He was a true gentleman throughout the entire process, with none of the "high pressure" and deceptive sales tactics often associated with buying a car. We agreed on a car model and options, again with no pressure or sudden add-on charges, other than the dealer prep fee which Mr. Saint-Preux had told me about before I came in. When delivery of the car was delayed, Mr. Saint-Preux kept in touch with me by phone and e-mail to keep my apprised of the status. When it arrived, he was very courteous in going over all of the features very patiently to ensure our satisfaction with our new purchase. Based on this experience, I would recommend Mr. Saint-Preux and Liberty Hyundai and will return there again when I am in the market for another Hyundai for my family. More
