Consistent Bad Customer Sevice About a year ago I had an issue with the service department and their lack of communication. They love to call you between 4:30-5:00 and tell you that About a year ago I had an issue with the service department and their lack of communication. They love to call you between 4:30-5:00 and tell you that your car is done and you need to pick it up before they close. I swore I would never go there again. My fleet company sent me there again, and they looked at my car and ordered a part and never told me they were ordering. They called when the part came in to schedule service, never telling me it was being ordered. I make the appointment and call them to tell them I will need a rental car when I get there on Monday, and they said they have them there and will have ready when I get there. I get there this morning and no car. I have to go to Enterprise, which also has nothing for me now. At least they are good at one thing, being consistently bad at customer service. Never again. Even better is when I tell the service guy about their customer service and my experiences he replies “Super”. Based on this I will never use them for service again and will never buy a car from them. More

Great Service Dan was my service advisor I came in for a wheel alignment. I day before my engine light came on Dan noticed it when he went to get my mileage. I told him what was going on with the engine couple of prior they checked it out and replaced the broken part. I was in and out in 2 hours. More
Never Again Took my wife's Escape in for service, as I was too busy. Steering wheel was making a squeaking noise when being turned and the brakes would make a lou Took my wife's Escape in for service, as I was too busy. Steering wheel was making a squeaking noise when being turned and the brakes would make a loud grinding crunch noise periodically when stopping. The brake pads were brand new on the car. First, no one ever called to tell me the car was finished being worked on and ready for pickup. I had to call twice and was told it had been finished "yesterday." Secondly, I was told the cable had been put on incorrectly which was causing the grinding crunch noise when stepping on the brakes. They reported, they put it on correctly. I called the service department a few days later and brought the car back in again, as the periodic grinding crunch noise was still happening. The brakes were also now squeaking, which they had not done prior. I was told nothing was wrong and since the car was not making the noise at that specific time while there at the service center, they refused to remove the tire to check the cable, which they stated they had fixed the first time. I removed the tire myself when I got home and fixed the parking brake cable, as I found it off. The exact same cable they said they had put on correctly! I also cleaned the brake shoes up. Found chunks of rust all over the drum when i pulled it off. I noticed oil leaking on my driveway and found two oil leaks which no one said a word about. Car had not been leaking prior. Thirdly, the steering wheel still squeaks when you turn it. As far as the safety check goes where they said everything was checked and in working order or something to that effect, that is interesting. The emergency brake doesn't work at all, as the cable rusted through and broke close to three years ago. More

Did not do service they claimed they did. Took my Ranger in orig. for air bag recall. I do most repairs on this veh,however with recalls the dealer handles. I have over 276,000 miles on this veh, never had any issues. With in a couple of weeks of getting my truck back, it broke down on me... Electrical system shut down totally. I called liberty Ford and mentioned what it happened they told me to get it towed in and they would take a look at it, I also mentioned to him that it was just in the shop for service on the airbag. I had it towed to them, spoke with their service guy Dan. He said they would get it and give me a call with what they found. I stopped in a couple days later, and the truck is not been moved from where the tow truck driver left it. I went in and spoke with Dan, he had been off the day before and nothing had been done with my truck. He immediately got a hold of his service technician and said they would get it in within 45 minutes. Dan did call me back within a couple hours and say The battery was so dead they couldn't charge it and they would have to install a new one to even go through an electrical analysis. The battery cables were very corroded on the terminals. Battery was only two years old that I bought from Walmart, but they needed a core for their new battery so that kind of put me in a no-win situation to try to go back on Walmart for a battery. Later that day, Dan did call me back said they ran a total analysis and it was needing an alternator. Bottom line, around $600 for everything. Seemed a little pricey but I told him to do it anyhow. The next day I called and they said my truck was done and come and get it. I did ask them if they would send me a shuttle driver because I did not have a way over there in which they were very accommodating and sent a gentleman over to pick me up. I brought my truck home and parked it. I looked under the hood to see my new alternator and battery and noticed that the jug that contains antifreeze was almost empty . On my original invoice for the warrantee airbag inflator on the bottom they stated they did a thorough inspection of fluids wipers battery tires brakes safety systems and components. They did not charge me for this however it is on the bottom of their invoice.. This is where my problem of concern is. Not only is that on the one with they did the airbag, it is also the same thing performed on the bottom of the repair for the alternator and battery. My question is , if this inspection was done why would there be corrosion on the top of my original battery as stated by the service writer. Also if this inspection was done and fluids were checked why would my antifreeze jug be virtually empty. And. It continues to get better. After leaving my driveway Sunday morning, my transmission started to fail a quarter of a mile away from my home . It left me stuck in the middle the road for about one minute and then engaged. I managed to make it back to my driveway, checked the automatic transmission fluid and found it was a quart low. Some Inspection, I'm glad they didn't charge me for doing nothing. Almost cost me more money. As a matter of fact it really does make me wonder if the original repair on the airbag didn't cause the short in the electrical system . No way of knowing, but I will guarantee you, I would never take a vehicle to a place that claims they preform work when in fact they don't. Very disappointed Liberty Ford in Brunswick , my last two trucks came from you, sorry for your loss of my future business.. More
Service dept. I had a recall on my Edge for the airbag. Once the part came in Tim contacted me and set up an appointment to take care of it. He got my Edge in, re I had a recall on my Edge for the airbag. Once the part came in Tim contacted me and set up an appointment to take care of it. He got my Edge in, replaced the air bag, and got me going in a short period of time. Tim was pleasant, efficient and very professional. I would not hesitate to recommend Liberty Ford and their service department to anyone. More
