This is more of a public service warning than a review. Take your vehicle to any other service center instead of Liberty Buick. Here is my experience: I took my 2017 Buick to Liberty Buick due to hearing a squeak that seemed to become more prominent while driving. I arranged to drop off my car on Saturday ahead of my Monday 8:30a appointment. I arrived at 11:30a and had to find a service advisor to assist me. There were no service advisors in the drop off area. The excuse I was given was “oh we are remodeling”. I’m not sure how remodeling keeps employees from performing their jobs. Monday came and went without a call from the dealership. I called Tuesday to inquiry as to the status of my car and was told the following: the water pump was leaking and needing to be replaced, all belts had failed, the engine mounts and transmission mounts needed to replaced along with the battery. Marie, the service advisor said all of this work would be $4,700! Oh and the original problem I came in with was “brake dust”. Then Marie said that it could take up to 72 hours to “reassemble” my vehicle. At that point I requested the service manager. I was transferred to several places and approximately ten minutes of hold music later I was talking to Scott Santos. Scott could have cared less about any of my concerns. He apologized that there was no service advisor to meet me upon my arrival. That was it. I did pick my car up the same day and took it to a trusted transmission shop. They “drove the xxxx out of it” and said the only thing that needs to be replaced is the battery. They said there is nothing wrong with the motor, the transmission, the brakes or anything else. The icing on the cake was Liberty Buick texted a day later saying they wanted to buy my car. Ha ha When you go to the dealership remember…these guys are paid on commission. They will always find something “wrong” so they make money. There was literally nothing wrong with my vehicle. If it was such a piece of junk, why would they have wanted to buy it? My Buick is the last year they made the Regal and is in immaculate condition with only 60,000 miles. They thought I was an idiot and would just write a check. Save yourself the grief and save your wallet from the abuse and go anywhere but this dealership! More
Although my service advisor is not at fault, I am more than disappointed in my service bc I brought vehicle in bc AC was not blowing cold. Supposedly the compressor was replaced. They stated the vehicle was blowing out at forty seven degrees. When I picked up the vehicle, but the vehicle is still only blowing cool air. Definitely.Not cold and definitely not forty seven degrees. When I expressed my concerns, they had me drive around the service manager who, instead of looking at my vehicle and having it fixed, I brought out a thermometer which showed my vehicle was blowing at 58 or 60 degrees. The thermometer has a long stick, which goes inside your vent, so if it's blowing at sixty degrees inside my vent, then once that air hits the outside, it's blowing it like seventy or eighty. This is not acceptable. I'm more than irritated because my concerns were not listened to and I was just brushed off and my vehicle is still not blowing cold. The fact that i'm driving around a baby in the back seat p***** me off even more, because when I expressed to them that the ac was not working it properly, they should have fixed it then instead of giving me tips on how to keep my vehicle cooler like keeping it in the garage or having the windows, open a little bit. They had me leave even though they could not replicate. My vehicle blowing out at 47°. Is there stating that it was when they checked it. So clearly there's a problem with the a c and instead of fixing it, you guys are making excuses and trying to tell me why i should accept it blowing out.Not cold and barely cool and warm at idle. On 09/13/24 Once again the service department drops the ball. Went in for an Oil Change, Check Air filter and a wash. Three hours later picked up my Truck to find it dirty not washed AND inside the cab sme ball. Went in for an Oil Change, Check Air filter and a wash. Three hours later picked up my Truck to find it dirty not washed AND inside the cab smelled like Chemicals. On Dash was Sign that read " NO WASH" to make matter worse The Air box were the Air filter is kept one screw completely missing and one gone. Now the lid was partially open to the atmosphere xxxxxxx dirt, Sand etc. Several time I had did issues with there Service department with doing a good job the first time. So now I find hunting down the right screws and finishing their once again. I am done with their shady work. That dealership needs to hire people that can do a good job first time without redoing it. I am going across the street for a better service. Wish I could post pictures of their shady work. Happy Sunday Everyone. More
Service personnel very welcoming. Service was as promised and on time. When I purchased my Enclave I also bought the maintenance service and that was handled without a hitch. I only wish I received the multipoint inspections checklist sheet with my paperwork when I picked up my car. The car only has 15k miles on it so I was not expecting any wear items to be an issue but it would have been nice to get that sheet like most dealers do. Overall, very satisfied. More
I can because of something very weird that happened involving my Encore. Doug listened to me very patiently as I tried to explain. I'm not the best explaner in the world and Doug was great. All the folks were friendly and helpful; while car was being serviced I was driven around the lot by Tony and shown what you had in inventory. Kudos to Tony.
