MY WHOLE EXPERIENCE AT ROCKLAND TOYOTA WAS GREAT. I WORKED WITH THE SALESMAN ROYCE. FIRST OF ALL HE STAYED LATE AFTER CLOSING.. AND SHOWED ME A GREAT CAR. AT NO TIME WAS HE PUSHY, AND MADE SURE IF I HAD ANY QUESTIONS THAT HE WOULD HELP ME. THIS WAS DEF NOT YOUR AVERAGE SALES GUY.. HE WAS THE MOST DOWN TO EARTH GUY AND BEST OF ALL A TRUTH TELLER.. HE WASNT THERE TO SELL YOU ANYTHING... AND HE DIDNT GIVE ME A LOAD OF JUNK.. A FEW TIMES HE STOPPED AND ASKED IF THERE WAS ANY WAY HE COULD ASSIST ME BETTER... I MEAN HE WAS JUST GREAT. THE GUYS IN THE FINANCE DEPT REALLY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TRYING TO GET ME THE BEST DEAL... AND THEY UPDATED ME THE BEST THEY COULD. THIS DEALERSHIP IS FAIRLY FAR FOR ME, I HAVE ABOUT 4 OTHERS THAT ARE CLOSER, BUT AFTER MY DEALINGS WITH ROYCE AND HIS CREW, MY FAMILY AND I WILL ONLY GO THERE FOR FUTURE SALES AND ANY WORK WE NEED ON OUR TOYOTAS/SCION. In March of 2008, I leased a 2008 Corolla from Rockland Toyota. I initially began my car shopping at Prestige Toyota in Ramsey, NJ. I got a call back that same day from Royce Ramos in sales, letting me know they did not have the color on the lot but they could get it for me with no problem. From my first face-to-face meeting with Royce to the delivery of the car just a few weeks later, the entire experience could not have been smoother. I was treated respectfully and with great care from start to finish. I have not had a single problem with my Corolla since first leasing it two years ago. When I go to the dealership for my routine service like oil changes, I am always warmly welcomed back and always receive fast & courteous service. Even now, two years later, if I call Royce Ramos at Rockland Toyota with a question or a request, he recognizes my name right away and asks me how my family is. This kind of personal service is something I really value, as I am sure most consumers do in this day and age. I would absolutely purchase my future vehicles with Rockland Toyota, and I have also recommended the dealership to friends and family. More

Overall this was probably the best experience I have had in purchasing/leasing a vehicle. Royce kept in nearly constant contact with me for the 6 days this process took, wasn't pushy when I wasn't sure what in purchasing/leasing a vehicle. When the initial vehicle I looked at got sold, he let me now right away and we set out to find something else. Once the final paperwork was signed and I was good to go, even tho the dealership was closingfor the night he sat with me for nearly a half hour showing me how to do stuff in my car. There were even a few times I invaded his personal time and asked questions while he was off and he was happy to answer them. Top notch service! More

Before we even met Royce, we were happy with the price on the windsheild of the van we purchased. I trusted him from the very beginning. He got us a great deal, and we felt relived that we didn't purchase the vechile we saw earlier. My boss, (Miriam Aronoff), and co-worker, (Roberta Pacht), convinced us that Rockland Toyota was the place to go, and they were right. The service, children's play area, all the people(from the receptionist to the finance deptartment), were great.... We will be back! Thank you for making our experiance so wonderful. The whole staff worked so quickley because we had to get our son off the bus. If that's not good service I don't know what is. P.S.S- Royce went completly out of his way and, showed us ALL the features of the van, filled the tank with gas, cleaned the stickers off the windows, he even put his head in harms way to show us how safe the automatic door is, and I am certain that there are many other things he did that we don't even know about. After shopping around for various sport coupes and sedans, I walked into Scion looking for a tC. I was immediately greeted by Royce and offered top notch service. Mr. Ramos was genuinely helpful during the entire process. Particularly after being treated with great indifference by the managing sales staff during my initial attempts to buy a car from Rockland Toyota. After my wife and I zeroed in on the car we wanted to buy, it took no less than four visits to Rockland Toyota before we were able to work with a salesman. During three of the initial visits we were told that no sales people were available. On the third visit we were told buy a manager that we might want to make an appointment for the following day which we did. On our forth day we showed up on the appointed time and were told by the sales manager that all the sales people were busy attending others. Well my veins must have bulged from my head. It was surreal to us to be treated in such a way at a car dealership. Here we were ready to order a car but no one could help us. This after I had bought a Highlander Hybrid last year from Rockland Toyota. With my patience at wits end, I then told the manager that once I walk out the door during this forth attempt to buy a car from Rockland, I would never walk back in for service or sales. The manager then finally introduced us to Joyce Ramos who was very apologetic for our prior experiences and treated us like customers should be treated. When the car we ordered was delayed for many weeks because of availability, Mr. Ramos kept in contact to update us along the way. We were assured by Ramos that he was on top of the order and made us to feel that he was doing all he could to get the car in as soon as possible. He was a true gentleman. When I came to pick up the car Ramos was again a pleasure and stayed with me until I felt familiar with the car. But I did notice one thing that seemed to stand out negatively on Rockland Toyota. After my frustrating initial experience at Rockland Toyota, the sales managing staff missed the opportunity to try to make things right. No manager ever came to me to offer an apology or to even thank me for my purchase and wish me luck. Instead I think they may have remembered me from putting them on the spot when demanding a sales person during my appointment. Not good. The only ray of sunshine for me at Rockland Toyota was Royce Ramos who in my opinion should be made manager there. Ramos knows how to treat customers and make them want to return.
