We are very satisfied with our recent purchase of a 2013 Sienna LE. Mr. Jonu Sam is our sales consultant. He offered us the best price with the least haggling experience we've had. This is my second car from the dealership and Jonu Sam took care of our deal well, very happy with him.Only pending complaint is that the rubber beading on the roof rack came lose during a car wash and I took care of our deal well, very happy with him.Only pending complaint is that the rubber beading on the roof rack came lose during a car wash and I took it back for fixing. Instead of replacing it, they performed a lousy job of probably fixing it back with glue which is uneven and visible. How much money did they save by doing this, is it worth annoying a repeat customer, their management must decide. More
I have been an Avalon driver for many years, normally on three year leases. Out of all of the sales reps with whom I have EVER conducted business, Royce Ramos is by far the most professional, knowledgeable, three year leases. I normally visit several dealerships before I choose which was not necessary last week, specifically because of Royce and his hard work to satisfy all of my new car needs. It is hard to buy a new car, but it was pretty easy to trust Royce. It is easy to see that he really likes his job. It shows in his work. We had a minor problem with our Camry since we bought it and Heath and the others in the service department have been a big help. This is our third Camry and we have been very happy with that machine. More

I have to admit, I was expecting the worst & got the best. The minute I walked through the door my negative opinion about car dealerships changed. I was there to purchase a new 2012 Scion x/B. Based on there test findings, Consumer Reports gave this car a "recommended buy" rating. I was initially approached by Wayne. After explaining my reason for being there, I was told Royce Ramos, the Scion salesman, wasn't due until noon. He did, however, walk me through the lot to examine the Scions on sight & set up a test drive. By the time we returned, Royce had arrived. We sat & talked for a short time during which he explained the highlights of the car, the services offered by Rockland Toyota, trade in values, etc.. There was no pressure to buy, buy, buy. He was friendly, easy going, & made the entire process a very positive one. I felt like we had known each other for years. Customer satisfaction was his goal and, with me, he hit a home run. I purchased the car, along with sport rims, and it looks nasty. A few weeks had passed, when I received a call from Royce. He wanted to see how things were going & emphasize the fact that he was available to answer any questions I might have in the future. Thanks Royce for a great buying experience! Toyota has always been my first choice when in the market to purchase a vehicle. I did used Edmunds.com and TrueCar.com as research tools to compare vehicles. Although Toyota was my first choice, I have to admit there is some pretty stiff competition out there these days. I chose Toyota because of past experiences when shopping for a new or pre-owned vehicle. This time I was assisted by Jonu Sam. He was courteous, friendly, has a sense of humor, and above all--I did not feel rushed. Jonu took his time explaining features about the vehicle as well as showing me different vehicles in the same family. I do appeciate the fact that Toyota respected my choice to shop around at other dealerships without trying to haggle me. Jonu was professional from beginning to end. He worked hard to make the sell, but he was sincere. While sitting in the dealership with Jonu Sam, I couldn't help but notice the way he spoke to customers that would call on the phone. He was composed and confident, and he did not display any frustrations with customers, who appeared to be challenging. I am glad I choose Toyota for my automobile needs. I felt comfortable and in control the whole time I met with Jonu. Afterall, customers should feel empowered because they are the one with the purchasing power. Mr. Jonu Sam was our salesman. He was very personable and knowledgeable about all the Toyota models we expressed an interest in. He allowed us to test drive the cars and answered any questions we had fu and knowledgeable about all the Toyota models we expressed an interest in. He allowed us to test drive the cars and answered any questions we had fully and much to our satisfaction. He spent a good deal of time with us and was extremely patient and polite. Never did he rush us or become irritated with our inquiries. He never pressured us to buy as many sales people do nor did he call us repeatedly on the phone as is also the case with other sales people. Sam is an asset to the Rockland Toyota Dealership and we would highly recommend him to our friends and family. We also had a great experience with Greg Brandford who handled our extended warranty and optional equipment purchase in a most efficient and professional manner. He also was personable, patient and very pleasant to work with. More
My wife and I are considering a high end SUV. Did my research and narrowed it down to a Sequoia Platinum, Land Cruiser and the Lexus LX and GX 2013. My wife and I were very transparent with Yris and Jo research and narrowed it down to a Sequoia Platinum, Land Cruiser and the Lexus LX and GX 2013. My wife and I were very transparent with Yris and Jonu (SAM). Scheduled an appointment and that's where this journey goes bad. We had to wait over an hour to test drive the Sequoia when we arrived. When you are going to spend this amount of money on a vehicle, you expect quality customer service. During the test drive the Sequoia was not road forced balanced and out of alignment. Mentioned this to Yris she looked like a deer in headlights as she had no idea what I was speaking about. Then after driving the Sequoia we had to wait another 20 mins for Yris to find the keys and get the Land Cruiser out. The Land Cruiser was a much better experience, however Yris had no idea about any of the capabilities of the Land Cruiser. Noticing this, I kept my questions to simple ones like towing capacity, she had no clue. My wife and I thanked Yris and said we had a few more vehicles to test drive. Yris sent me a few emails on the performance capabilities of both vehicles, but never responded to any of my more technical questions. Few weeks later I called SAM to schedule an appointment to actually purchase the Land Cruiser but want to make sure. So I asked SAM if I could schedule an appointment and not wait. I just simply wanted to drive both trucks again. He said he would do his best, but he could not guarantee anything. Its the end of the month and I am very busy. I advised him that Lexus did not treat me this way. He said, "They are a high end dealership." My response, "I'm about to buy an $80,000 truck. No lease, no finance a straight purchase" SAM annoyed me so much that we decided to go with a Lexus GX rather than a high end Toyota. WAY TO SCREW UP AN ALL CASH SALE ON A LAND CRUISER YRIS AND SAM!!! More
