This was my second experience purchasing from Toyota of Rockland. Since my initial purchase experience was an excellent one, I figured I couldn't go wrong in dealing with Royce Ramos, the son of the salesm Rockland. A couple of years ago, I ran into Royce while having my Corolla serviced and we had a friendly chat. When I was finally ready to purchase a new car, I kept Royce in mind and am glad I ran into him when I did. 10 years after the purchase of my first Toyota, I felt blessed that a number of the same friendly, trustworthy staff continue to work at Rockland Toyota. The service staff, along with Royce, have always been friendly and professional, giving me a feeling of comfort that I never felt when dealing with other car dealership staff (ie: Chevrolet, Ford). I never felt like I was getting the runaround or a song and dance when it came to my Toyota vehicles. The recent purchase experience of my Prius was even better than buying my Corolla! Royce gave me more information about the vehicle than I asked for, and was very helpful in showing me how to operate it. His patience and personable approach made me feel much more at ease in driving the Prius, which can be intimidating at first. Even two months later, he and the service staff continue to be available at a moments notice, for any and all question about operating the vehicle. Family and friends are in disbelief and extremely jealous at how much I save on gas with my Prius. So far I've clocked in at 62 miles per gallon and am lovin' it! My Prius drives beautifully, like a luxury vehicle; it's comfortable, easy to handle and looks fantastic. Although I missed giving up my Corolla this past June, I got over the loss quick fast after driving home my Prius. And when I'm ready to upgrade my Prius, I pray Royce Ramos continues to be available to help me again. Thank you Royce-- You're the BEST! More
I went to rockland Toyota knowing what I was looking for, I walk inn the first time here was Royce who come to me and asked if he could be of help to me. Royce was very helpful right off the bat. He made me feel very comfortable making my purchase and didn't try to push anything on me. Also he got my payments right to where I wanted them to be which is always a big plus! Coming from another dealership, the difference was absolutely clear. Any and all information was completely disclosed to me so that I can make an informed decision that I was completely comfortable wi absolutely clear. Royce, my sale rep, was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and overall helpful in any way. He helped me find a car suitable to my needs at an affordable price and with all the coverage I'd need at an affordable rate. I love my car. Thank you, Royce. At first I went to the dealership pretty clueless of the process for what it takes to lease a car. After my first initial visit to the dealership, I spoke with Royce Ramos who was very friendly and informat process for what it takes to lease a car. After my first initial visit to the dealership, I spoke with Royce Ramos who was very friendly and informative in all aspects from what it takes to lease a car, do a trade-in, and including every possible detail of the actual car I was interested in which was a 2013 Rav4.....From that first day, I spent a good 2 hours or so speaking with Royce Ramos. He was even kind enough to tell me that day that if I had any questions about anything, that I can contact him....and that I sure did. Later that day I contacted him with questions and he was still able to communicate with me very well and answer everything in detail.....Buying or Leasing a car is a long process and something you should think about carefully and ask as many questions as possible. When I spoke with Royce Ramos, he made me feel at ease with his knowledge and customer service......2 days later I came back to see him and not a thing about his customer service was any different from my first visit. Although it was a long process the 2nd day to finalize any paperwork, etc...From the moment he presented me the car and handed me the keys, his customer service was so helpful in may ways there after. He sat in the car with me and went over every possible little detail inside the car from actually setting up my bluetooth phone to where some important things were stored like the wheel lock key.......I was satisfied in the end when I drove off the lot with the car I chose. I had visited another Toyota dealer in Westchester and they were all high pressure salesman. I left and never went back. The employees at Rockland Toyota were helpful and honest. I would highly recommend purchasing a car from this dealer. Kudos to Royce in particular for making the whole transaction painless and enjoyable!!! More
My overall experience with Toyota is excellent. I have many good things to mention to Toyota but what is foremost is the way Mr. Royce Ramos hd done business. Very professional. You have more better and wider room to negotiate with Toyota terms and conditons of the lease as compared to other dealership. I have 4 cars. 2 of them is Toyota and the other 2 is another car maker which I'm intending to renegotiate with Rockland Toyota when my current lease expires. More

I stopped in and asked a salesman for an all inclusive quote (including registration and sales tax for a cash purchase with no trade) on a Corolla. He gave me a 3 page print out including amounts for "per quote (including registration and sales tax for a cash purchase with no trade) on a Corolla. He gave me a 3 page print out including amounts for "per unit overhead" "policy adjust" "advertising" "min commissions" "interest" and "vehicle lot maintenance." He then penned in his all inclusive total without showing the registration costs or sales tax. I told him I already had a quote for $1,500 less than his and he told me the other dealer "wouldn't have the car" and "wouldn't honor that price" when I went in to sign a contract. Long story short: I was easily able to buy the Corolla for $2,200 less than the Rockland Toyota price and this was on a base model inexpensive car. Unless you really enjoy haggling (and want to start at a ridiculously high level - actually higher than MSRP in this case) don't bother wasting your time visiting this dealership. More
